One major upgrade and a few years of security patches but quarterly only just as Xiaomi does for it's more affordable phones but at least you sometimes get two major upgrades and more of their UI upgrades as well compared to Honor. Never the less these Honor devices are most of the time better build compared to Xiaomi budget offerings (at least in my experience). Honor has always been more expensive than other brands operating in the same segments and as such not really popular, at least not in Europe.

Pricing actually not far from iQoo Z9 (not the turbo), and POCO X6 Pro.
If really want to spend, spend at something such as POCO X6 Pro, or Xiaomi 13T.
Not saying POCO X6 Pro and Xiaomi 13T are the best of the world, but for the money paid, it is big bangs for buck, at least day to day usage cover more than enough for years to come.
For Honor, at least need to spend until Honor 90 or Honor Magic 5 only can be considered good for a few years usage.

Not a bad looking device but not really original either (again a would be apple design with a dash of pixel) but Honor isn't Huawei in terms of build quality and support. That's the main drawback I had with my Magic5 Lite with only quarterly security patches and only one major upgrade (if any) which is the poorest software support I've ever experienced.

An SD 680 chipset works well, not blazing fast nor mega powerful but for day to day tasks and some light gaming it does the job well. A 5G modem would have been more future proof but hey, 4G is still plenty fast enough (for normal stuff) and is nowhere to be cancelled any time soon compared to 2 and 3G.

Umair, 31 Mar 2024Does it have wifi calling? If it has wifi calling depends on your provider. My Magic5 Lite supported it so I suppose this one allows it as well.
