HTC H7 tablet will feature quad-core CPU, dual-SIM support

21 May, 2015

HTC was recently reported to be working on an entry-level tablet and a prototype tablet even got the Bluetooth certification. The fact that the hardware is ready for certification suggests that the launch isn't far away.

Now import data from India lists HTC’s budget tablet and some details about it. As per the listing, HTC’s tablet H7 will feature a 7-inch touchscreen display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

HTC has packed 1GB RAM and 16 GB on-board storage on this tablet which also supports dual-SIM configuration. The import data also lists the price of INR 9,565 ($150) and but that's probably not indicative of the final price.

The Flyer was HTC’s first attempt to create a decent Android tablet but after that the company hasn’t seen much of success until HTC Nexus 9. We'll see if going for a cheaper option will help it regain market share.

I was gonna write a comment here, but I keep getting my comments deleted for including curse words in them -- looks like this site is run by some Christian group of sorts... Anyway, to the point: This has basically the specs of the Nexus 7 2012....
