This was mm first smartphone and I used it for two years. I accidentally damaged it about two days ago.
Overall,I think this phone is great!! Very occaionaly freezes (less than 10times in two year) and everything worked great.
I would advise on going in for this phone ANYTIME!!! Tip: DO NOT charge battery by connecting usb to computer... that will be the beginning of your woes.

My Htc freezes on start up & just shows the HTC emblem all the time...Does any1 know what the problem can be & how do I solve this problem?

I have been using this HTC S 730 for about a month and I really found it one of wonderful innovation in the history of mankind I have ever found. I'm really inspired because previously I have been the user of latest Nokia phones.

Had this phone for over 1 year, now im sick and tired! Its slow, difficult to write sms on, messing up things, and now resently have deleted some of my contacts.. It takes 2-3 pictures everytime, and its not easy to find what i want.

I had this phone for 2 and a half year, in UK O2 internet doesn't work. Windows crashes and phone is really slow. In sides where are cover screws it started to broke and eventually it just fall apart. I even can take out buttons and the screen is about to fall out as well.

I'm using this phone over 2 years. Got in US at authorised dealer shop. Experience is awful - windows mobile has crashed twice, deleting big part of my latest contacts, as well the whole diary. The rubber covers do not function and are completely out. The phone has very bad alarm system - you can only place allarm for week or weekdays, not for once! there is no option to have both vibration and music for call together, either one. sometimes, when the phone is connected to the system it still can't send SMS (that actually happened after second reinstallation of Windows), camera sometimes refuses to work (the problem appeared after 1 year, before it was quite OK) there might be technical malfunction of the slider, as sometimes phone stucks and screen becomes black, although the phone functions, it may get you crazy...
Overall, undone unit. Recent HTCs are much morequality work, so if you want to have no headache, do not buy S730!

Past calls CAN be deleted!!
Connecting to windows isnt difficult for me, use Microsoft Activesync, bluetooth.
Keyboard is standard QWERTY.
My battery warms only when charging or have been talking for long.
I think this phone is a great one.It's my first smartphone i ever used

SATH, 12 Nov 2009pls,avoid buying this phone,i bought it bfore 9 months.batt... moreHard luck SATH, I got this phone and have been using it for 12 months now, Battery charges fully for 3hrs ahours and I can use it for about 40 hrs.. same as it was when i first bought it. Perhaps there could be something wrong with you battery
