LTE HTC Titan II with 16 MP camera revealed, heads for AT&T

09 January, 2012

The LTE-packing HTC Titan II just made its public debut at CES 2012. What might turn out to be the hottest Windows Phone smartphone for sometime to come is going to hit AT&T in the first half of the year.

First and most importantly, the HTC Titan II features an amazing 16MP camera at the back, making it the first Windows Phone device (and the first smartphone available outside of Asia) to do so.

But the HTC Titan II's camera isn't the only thing making headlines in the Windows Phone world. The Titan II has the same 4.7" LCD as its predecessor, which is as large as it gets in WP land. The chipset inside this one is Qualcomm Snapdragon S2, featuring a 1.5GHz Scorpion CPU and there's LTE connectivity on-board. The Titan II sounds like quite a hit for AT&T and HTC.

We got some hands-on time with the device and we even have a few camera samples to show you.

Keep in mind that due to the WP7 restrictions we were only able to download the images downsized to 2 megapixels. We'll be doing our best to bring full resolution samples from this monstrous camera as quickly as possible, though.
