you have to enter the model and serial number behind the battery ...be careful while ordering as there are multiple batteries available for similar specification ....
its available for around $ 10

It gets worst by using it. It will get hang. Very small internal memory.
There is no support for upgrading android. :-(

nazeer, 08 Mar 2013You can force reset by press holding both side volume key a... moretried holding both volume buttons and power button. Tried holding hang up volume up and power. Neither of these took me to a reset screen. Phone is locked and I have no idea what the pattern is and don't have a Gmail acct. Any other suggestions?

my phone fell and it wont come on.
i charged the battery, when u switch it on, it beeps once and goes off.
the screen does not light up,

To update
go to -
http://www.huaweidevice.co.in/Support/Downloads/
and find Ideos X2(Huawei U8500) under product name and download it !
now place the download file ie; update.app in your phone sd card by making a folder named "dload" in your sd card.
Now unplug USB turn off your phone and turn on volume down + call end button(red) and power button together.
Tada....the update starts
Note: you should have enuf batter charge or else you may end in a brick !!!
