Huawei's Honor 5X is just £139.99 in the UK, today only

Amazon UK's Deal of the Day promotion features the Huawei Honor 5X today. This means you can grab the smartphone for the lowest price it's ever had: just £139.99. It's available from the well-known online retailer in silver, grey, and gold - and all color versions have the same price.

In the past, the Honor 5X was discounted to £149 for one weekend in March. Its recommended retail price is £189.99, which means that if you purchase one from Amazon today you are saving a cool £50.

The Honor 5X comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5 MP selfie cam, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 616 SoC (with a 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 4G LTE, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
