UN-FORTUNATELY
This phone will be released first as single sim version then may be JUST MAY BE, we will see dual sim version.
This is extreme point of disappointing.

The phone is very heavy and lot less compact.5-5.2 inch size is ideal for all smartphones.Sony XperiaZL is an ideal compact phone which other smartphone makers should see and emulate.

Also found that I had set the camcorder to 1080p 60fps has a worse quality output than the 1080p 30fps, so once again you have to "dumb-down" the phone for in my view an acceptable quality output, the camera/camcorder is the weakest part of this phone. I hate to say this but my Mobius mini cam/car recorder (£40) has a better video output, by a long way.
That said I'm enjoying the screen, it's super fast and the battery life seems great, so not all bad, just very disappointed by the expectations of the new super "worlds first" 4k capturing phone,

Actually in regards to the camera in my previous posts, I have found a few settings to get the best out of the "poor" camera. When I originally setup the camera, I of course changed the settings to max i.e. 13MP and standard 4/3 width for easy printing etc. But over the last week I've found it's better to have it turned down to 10MP and widescreen (It wont let you have 13MP/widescreen), makes a difference, but whats the point boasting about 13MP if you need to lower it to get a better photo.

Regarding Shingles comments.
I have just been on live chat to Acer UK(?) and been told that they have no details of anyone selling this phone on contract. They just repeated "our authorised resellers" or similar, but the list that came up was of companies who sell their laptops, not their phones! Funny no reviews other than "hands on" from 4 months ago. Perhaps Shingles has uncovered the problem; may be it is great on paper but not so good in practice.
GSM we need a review urgently!

The firmware of current S2 shall not be the latest version.
Liquid S1 has 8 floating apps, but S2 only has 4 currently.
So I.expect the camera software would be further improve.

I'm in the UK, I had mine delivered last Saturday, a black one. Came from a Galaxy note original.
Overall not that impressed really, granted the screen is great, battery life is okay, the biggest let down is the camera, like a 6 year old HTC desire I had, in fact worse! Terrible pixelization, even on a sunny day at iso 100.
Want to shoot in low light? Forget it, everything looks like a watercolour painting. Basically the camera is not good, which isn't a good thing as Acer are pushing the camera/camcorder.
Video recording isn't brilliant either, thought it might be super, seeing as the phone will shoot 4k, no point really if 1080p isn't very good.
Hopefully the problems can be rectified via firmware, if not, it will get slaughtered in the official reviews.
Just to add, it came with Android 4.2.2
I'm no Acer hater, I have a few of their products, I'm just being honest, I so wanted this phone to be the superb, I just feel a bit let down, maybe I believed the hype/specs too much, oh well another expensive lesson learned.

I know this has just been released but I am eagerly awaiting the camera test from gsmarena. Love the Photo Compare Tool. I suppose of you want to be different from all of your friends who own the Galaxies, then this would be an ideal buy!!!
