I bought it in Jan 2020 and the phone still works perfectly. Like seriously, zero issues. I'm absolutely in love with this phone because I cannot believe how perfect it is. When I tell people it works perfectly people don't believe me cuz they're all used to Samsung which doesn't last this long apparently. I now need to give this phone to someone in need and I'm so afraid to buy a new one because I'm not sure it'll be good enough. Anybody know any good phones like this in the similar price range?

Bought this phone back in 2019 and its still working perfectly. 5 years later and its still going strong. its very durable.

Bought this phone in 2019. Still using it. Refuses to die nearly 5 years later. Dropped many times, no problem not even a cracked screen. Great build quality. The pop up selfie camera is sturdy. Cost me $300 New Zealand . Couldn't ask for a better phone for the price

I had this phone second hand it was given to me for free it was becuase my samsung a13 4g stopped working correctly this phone was one of the most worst phones i had the pop camera worked once then no longer worked notepad app was terrible i could not copy a note i wrote i could not even grant a app acess to the sd card very laggy dispite the fact i had barly any apps installed on it battery life was a joke sometimes keyboard would not let me type the phone was weird to use this phone the screens i eventually upgraded to a nokia g42 5g

I bought this phone in July 2019 and I still use it, it’s almost 4 and a half years old. Although I got a new phone last december, I’ll keep using this as a 2nd phone. Battery and pop up camera are still in perfect condition, I’ve dropped it several times, including one drop from 1.8 meters and although the screen broke, nothing happened to the rest of the phone. Screen is cheap to replace and all apps still get updates. It is still usable in 2024 because it has all main apps and it doesn’t lag. Best phone I’ve ever had because it doesn’t feel cheap and the materials are very high quality. One of the last huawei models that were released with google services, so maps and gmail work flawlessly. This is how phones are supposed to be, durable and reliable. My only complaint is that the battery is not replaceable, so I hope I won’t have battery durability issues in the next years.

Ana, 12 Dec 2023Exactly! For a clumsy person, this phone is sooo aptI love it even more than my Moto Edge+ because I can drop it and be clumsy about it without worrying, also a new screen is $10 a pop not hundreds like Galaxy or iPhone.

Please I need help. After updating my Huawei Y9 prime from old version 9.0.1.132(SP51C185E8R2P1) to new version 9.1.0.223(C185E2R2P1) it started tripping off and on once I enter camera to take pictures. Please what is the solution to this problems? And how can I solve the problem, any suggestion would be highly appreciated because I love my Huawei phone, I have been using it since January 2020.
