Myself Tushar Tarkar! I have purchased this phone in March 2022 & now it's 3 & 1/2 mnths I am using this phone - Motorola Moto g71 5g. So here I'll share my review about this phone for all my friends. There are many channels who give technical reviews, but I'll share daily life review. So, let's get started quickly.
Talking about the phone it has 6.4" 60Hz display. Hearing just 60Hz display, you will think that the phone is slow as compared to other phones which offer 90 to 120 Hz display in the same price range. But believe me in these 3 & 1/2 mnths, I have never felt that this phone is slow or lags anywhere. As a common man, you will never release that display is just 60Hz unless you read it on papers. Talking about Brightness, you will love it! Phone is bright enough & you don't face any problems in sunlight. You can excess the phone in sunlight without any problem.
For security purpose the phone has Rare-Mounted fingerprint sensor. It also has Face Unlock feature to unlock your phone. However Face Unlock feature is not so fast, but it doesn't disappoints too! In addition to these two features to unlock the phone, it has Motrolas' Smart Unlock feature too.
This phone comes in 4GB, 6GB, & 8GB of RAM. But unfortunately it has only 128GB of internal storage. It has no memory card slot. But Good News is that it supports "USB On-The-Go" which means that users can attach pen-drive & do all work which memory card does. So No disappointment in this area too!
Now talking about Camera, the phone had Quad Camera. But at the back you can see only 3 Camera modules i.e. 8 MP Ultrawide, 50 MP Main & 2 MP Macro. Now you must have question; what about 4th camera? Yes, the 8 MP Ultrawide camera also supports Depth sensor, whic is your 4 th lens. 50MP Main camera does a very good job in this range. The photos are very crispy with all colour details. The Front facing camera is 16 MP, Ultrawide camera, for Selfi lovers doing a descent job. Main camera also supports Night Mode. Photos taken in Night time using Night mode are also good. But to your disappointment, 2MP Macro camera does a very bad job. Photos taken with it are out of focus. Anyway this is not the point to worry as we are least bothered of taking photos with Macro camera. Depth sensor does a very impressive job. The camera has RIS instead of OIS. Also videos recorded with the camera are very crispy with very good details & colours. So overall, camera, whether it's rare or front, doesn't disappointment at any point of time.
I have played games on the phone too - action as well as board game. Light gamers can consider this phone, but not heavy gamers.
Last but not least is the battery section. It has 5000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charger. It takes 1hr 30min exactly to charge from 0%to 100%. Also it supports reverse charging. The battery life is very good. Even with heavy usage, we have 50% battery left in the phone.
The phone has sensors like other phones. But to everyones knowledge Compass sensor is missing. But that doesn't mean you can't play maps on it. Maps run completely fine.
Final verdict :- Overall Motorola has done a very good job with this phone in all respects including camera. One can go ahead & think of getting the phone in this price range.

I fat fingered my last message and sent it while editing the first paragraph (sorry mods).
I bought this phone roughly two months ago. I was comparing prices here, and the price at that time (€300) made it look like a bargain compared to the phones 20% more expensive in the same store (some Samsung and another Motorola both at US$180 here).
Compared with those phones it was quite the deal for me. It was quite some change from my very long in the tooth Moto G4+, but I'm satisfied. I haven't had any issues, the change to OLED is noticeable (even if I tend to use low brightness, the display is far from the same performance in full daylight than my previous phone) but the trade-off contrast is more than worth it, and the factory ghosting defect I had on the previous one made me paranoid enough that I know I won't have to change my habits on an OLED.
I'm honestly surprised at the current US$400+ price tag shown here. I'm with way out of touch with the post-pandemic market or there's some weird stuff going on. Anyway, great phone if compared with the low mid ranges I had available at the same price here.

In apps and notification in settings, restrict the background usage of battery as well as stop notifications. As this consumes most battery. Then check your battery whether it drains as you are experiencing now. Even if your problem persists after doing so, then show it to service centre.

I have been using the MOTOROLA G71 for a month and recently the battery is draining very fast. After charging the battery upto 90 % in morning the battery drain to 20% in the evening. I don't play game just normal use along with watching of you tube.

It does not have 2160 or 4k quality option in Youtube

I am using Motorola Moto G71 5g now, as my primary handset since a week. As a layman, I would love to share cons and pros of the phone.
The phone comes with a bigger display, which is very bright and there's no problem in using it in direct sunlight. For security purpose, along with back mounted Fingerprint sensor, you have Face Unlock sensor too. Back Fingerprint sensor is well Mounted that without looking at it, you can unlock your phone. Also this sensor has gesture mode i.e. by moving your finger from up to down on this fingerprint sensor, you can pull down notifications to read. This feature can be started in settings. Google Assistance, Volume rocker & On Off buttons are well mounted on right side of the phone.
Battery life of the phone is excellent. With heavy usage too battery lasts for 1 & 1/2 day. Also charging is fast - 0 to 100 in 1 hr 30 min. Connectivity is good. I didn't experience any call drops.
Also camera has improved a lot as compared to older Motorola phones. Colours are captured well. Also there is Cinematograph option while taking photos.
Now talking about pros of the phone, I didn't find many in my 1 weeks of usage. Only 2! 1st on is that it has no memory card & other one is that Google Assistance gets activated even if your phone is locked or lying on table without touching.
So according to me it a budgeted 5g smart phone by motorola that one can purchase.
