Anyway, you don't use any screen protector on your phones? By the way, I've also encountered some Bluetooth problems, my headphones keep disconnecting from time to time, but it's not constantly, so not sure what's the problem here.

I'm coming f... moreWelp, battery life is at 80% capacity, it STILL lasts all day above 50% as long as I don't use it non stop.
The Bluetooth issue didn't improve but I listen to music with my headphones fine.
I scratched my screen's coating layer up with coins tossing the handset in my back pocket, but it's barely noticeable unless the screen is off and you tilt it to see the scratches.
I hardly take it out of the case so my body has zero damage, and my cameras are all fine.
I do have an issue where the screen stops timing out when I use certain apps, so I have to reboot it for it to kick back in otherwise, she's not aging badly.
Going to upgrade in a few months and join iOS since I'm using a part of their ecosystem for work.
This old fellow is going to be my toss about handset cuz it's more than shown it's capable. Maybe I'll change the battery.

I have been using this model for one year, I have realized mine has good battery life, poor network and internet connection. Could they have used an extenal aerial antenna protruding. Though generary its okay.

Anonymous, 18 Oct 2021Which month you got update of android 11I just bought mine from amazon last october 2021. I updated my moto g8 power last week to android 11. I love this phone specs so much compared to my last samsung S5. I wish it can last longer than my S5 say 6 to 8 years tops

Great phone and the battery lasts all day with over 50% power left. However, within a few months the rear camera has dust behind the lens... It cannot be cleaned out and my macro camera is just a blurry mess.

I just bought this phone now in Aug 2021 and man. I love it. I had to watch many reviews before I could really buy it. I suffered with a bad battery life phone before and now needed a phone with great battery life with great specs and a good camera( not excellent because I knew great camera calls for greater price. I'm in campus college I couldn't manage spending much bucks on a phone, in campus you will really appreciate this phone. The design great, the speakers are great( I don't even want to be using headphones cause I feel like they ruin the quality. I don't even know want to complain about. Motorola thanks.

Does anyone here has 4g working on sim2? On my phone 4g is working only on sim1 and not on sim 2? Is this a fault ?

Overall the phone is very good. Battery, clean and fast software, audio and camera are the strongest points. The camera gets even better with Gcam, it only misses a Dual Pixel auto focus a feature only present in high end phones. The moto g8 power does have a compass. The G9 and G10 have worse specs overall.
Weakest points it does not have 5ghz wi-fi and the 2.4ghz is limited by about 35mbps, no limit with 4g though. Phone dimensions and weight are really bad but it seems nobody is making compact or right sized phones anymore. Big screens are the current trend. And I am annoyed that I cannot not find a way to disable the daily Android 11 update notification, does anyone know how to disable the notification? I do not want to update.

Citrax, 25 Jun 2021I can honestly say that I haven't experienced a single... more1) If in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies, which means the item has to DURABLE enough to be fit for purpose and of merchantible quality. A phone, which is 100% going to be dropped at some point in its lifespan, is NOT fit for purpose if it breaks so easily. Just because the average muppet tolerates this pathetic standard, does NOT make it either irrational (as you posit) nor unlawful to expect the manufacturer (via the RETAILER, with whom you have the contract) to toughen their phones up and adjust to the law's minimum standards. It doesn't happen because people are too ignorant to stand up for their rights.
2) Something Cex build-into their business model a lot, incidentally. Buying from Cex and getting a good deal? Then you are lucky.
I've been a customer of theirs since 1997. These days many MANY items they sell are broken. I have detailed evidence if you like... Running at something like 70% of items bought there at this point (and guess where I don't shop any more?)
They used to claim "we test our items so well that we can confidently offer a two year warranty". They used to run their PCs on a looped 3DMark benchmark in the shop, to show their reliability (Goodge St).
Now they dropped the "we test our items so well" because they often just DON'T (more profitable when the average customer is ignorant, has low self-esteem to stand up against criminal denial of their statutory rights, etc. I've spoken to Cex Store Managers who were literally PROUD that "Trading Standards have been trying to get us for years and they can't." Ignoring the fact that if Trading Standards are bothering to act at all in the first place, the business is likely breaking the law. No empathy whatsoever for customers. More of that ignorant selfish culture that has been highlighted throughout this pandemic, basically. Then these idiots blame anyone else but themselves for the world's problems, as if the salary level you are at determines your effect on the world and nothing else exists (which is obviously delusional as a world-view, as we're all linked, maximum 6 degrees of separation on the globe if not less these days with social media and globalisation).
