AnonD-1143006, 11 Feb 2024Can this get Android 14?Currently, the volunteers responsible for LineageOS have brought it up to 13 (LineageOS 20). I've seen some prepwork in the LOS changelogs that indicate it'll get 14 (LOS 21), but as they're volunteers doing this in their free time, we can't demand anything.

It is quite easy to switch to Lineage 20 (Android 13) - works fine and get weekly updates.

My Moto Vision still working fine .But security updates stop .
Similar device for replacement is Moto G82 but not android one ,and no 4K video

Now its ok. This Motorala get the 07/2022 Android 11 update Europe and everything is now functional. This is very interesting, the more expensive One Zoom phone never got the higher Android 11 as I read here.
If the connection to the computer does not work, you have to restart the phone. Yes, it's sometimes annoying, but I haven't found a better solution after updating to Android 11. If your phone doesn't connect to the computer at all, you have to reset your phone to factory settings after the update.

Android 11 ok, but not funtion MTP, PTP transfer. I try repair W7 and W10, found very much repair options and most not help. 01.wpdmtp.inf install, repair, 02.Enable MTP from CMD, 03.Update MTP Driver from DeviceManager - not found windows update, 04.Install Media Feature Pack - try to w7 and w10 and not better its all same. W7 - try add to register regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ , Go up to Edit>Find, type in or copy/paste Portable Devices,
In the right hand pane you will see the (Default) value “Portable Devices” on the string.
Once found, you see a string value called UpperFilters –> delete it! Finished!

In general it's a great device, after 2 and a half years most features are working fine, BUT the battery life is much worse now, I use my phone a lot so now I just have to go out with a powerbank to be able to still have my phone functioning on the way back.
Still, the camera, display and processing are great, so you maybe just have to account that its lifetime is about 2 years.
