Anonymous, 30 Apr 2024I hope yours is not an isolated experience and that they in... moreConsidering that this phone launched in March, and we don't even have a Hands-On review, I can conclude only one thing:- The phone is so bad, GSMArena has avoided writing anything and informed Samsung of it.
Even phones launched in April like CE4 have hands on ready.
I go to a big mall store, they have all phones, except M55.
A small mobile store has only 1 piece of M55, and even its retail package (I checked myself) doesn't mention its specs. No mention of 7 Gen 1 at all, like even Samsung knows not to promote it.
GSMArena have avoided being too critical of Apple and Samsung, obviously, but they do maintain reasonable honesty where its visible.. So they just avoided writing anything.

Get a better Oneplus Nord CE4, I'm talking from my personal experience. Better device in all matters, and has a microSD slot like M55 too.
NOTE: M55 has severe overheating and video recording & hanging problems. it maybe a Snapdragon but it is made in Samsung foundry and this shows.

This resolution was a hit back in the 2000s, but let's make peace with the fact that we are 20 years in the future, so Samsung really needs to pull up its socks when other brands are providing much better specifications at similar price brackets.

Anonymous, 30 Apr 2024I hope yours is not an isolated experience and that they in... moresorry but your opinion and use of m55 galaxy is ridiculos.I have galaxy a52s 5g (2021) relase date,I am planing to get new phone but just because all market's are making me do that you know what I mean.so back to the phone's compare m55 2024 and a52s 2021 year and tell me in what way is m55 better than a52s 3 year headstart and maybe hardver is a little better and some softvare app's and the android upgrades that a52s is getting lesser and lesser is only big advantage and back to a reason why am I going to buy a new phone which I will use for work and I am going to use my a52s for many years I could because this phone is a beast for many high range phone's and it's ono of the samsung best phone's ever to hit the market

I really fail to understand how an experienced company like Samsung can goof up with a phone like this and then scramble to fix it with update patches. I'm guessing that by the time this phone receives Android 18 it might be prone to heating much more than now - anyway phones heat up more as they become older. I would wait for GSM Arena to provide their official review before I go anywhere near the M55.

Bought this phone 15days back, it was heating up with normal use battery back was thrash i was hugely disappointed initially was regretting my decision buying this instead of ce4, but guys believe it or not a security patch or update was released on 25th april it has fixed heating and battery issues no i can say it is better deal than A35
After using it for 15days ( After new update)
Pros
Excellent display
Battery backup 10hrs 40mins on screen time with airtel jio sims on( as i have mentioned earlier its completely a different phone after the update)
Charging time 1hr 20mins(from 5% to 100) i have 25watt samsung adapter not 45
No lags as of now
Camera is decent
Cons
Charger price 45w costs 3500
No gorilla glass protection
Overall i would rate 7/10 its an excellent phone after the update if u are planning to buy a phone within 30k a branded one m55 is the best beats a35 hands down only difference is victus+ ip67,oneplus ce4 is better in every aspects but i like 4major updates
No lags gaming with medium settings

I suppose it is almost the same as 8 Gen 1, which means it could be plagued with a wide variety of issues due to its inferior construction like heating and all, which is exactly what people're complaining.
I'm shocked to see a Samsung phone go so bad. It has 2 stars on Amazon, not 2.5.
This is the worst rated Samsung I've ever seen.
