it dosen't have a direct slot for pendrive......bt der is wire which cn we connected to the phone

Can i make phone calls and sms with this tablet??
i heard that in samsung galaxy tab2 we can only make calls using head phone or else by loud speaker...is that true?? and what about sms option, in some review sites its showing like there no sms option and in some other its showing like there is sms option...help me with this guys?? please.
