This tab comes with rose gold but why the colour wasnt in record?? and it looks so beautiful. Unfourtunetly, my mom putting too long on sun making the tab too hot and never turn on or giving any respond.

With the LineageOS 14 ROM you can get a battery standby time of over 50 days!! And also best performance of all the ROMs.
There is a newer LOS17 ROM, but highly do not recommend it. Will make your tablet laggy as hell.

I "still" have this tablet.
Still in quotation marks because I only bought it three years ago lol. Got it on eBay as refurbished for around $100. But it's almost like new.
Overall it has aged very well. I'm running LineageOS 14 and it's the best performance you'll ever get out of the ancient SD800. All other ROMs (and stock touchwiz) will degrade the performance.
Outstanding battery life too from LOS14 ROM. I can keep this tablet on standby for as long as 50 days before it dies. That's mindblowing-ly long!! It's like the battery life of a Kindle eBook reader!!

I'm using this today because my mipad 4 is dying. This was my kid's tablet before.
It had battery drain and heating issue before. I just reset it disabled some apps and it seemed to fix the battery drain issue. As for the heating, just? set it to airplane mode, then you can turn ON wifi.
Also this one is on Marshmallow Android 6.0, switched it to the SG ROM.
Still really good for YouTube, Netflix, FB, TikTok, Chrome. Kinda slow for today's standards but still manageable.
Also GeForce Now and Steam Link works, so I'll try to find a gamepad that works with it dualshock 4 doesn't work. Then I'll use it with an MHL adapter. This should scratch the itch for a steam deck, should beat a steam deck on screen and game stream quality.

I remember owning this thing back in 2017, It was really great, but the screen was destroyed and battery life also worsened

Best. Tablet. Ever.
For some strange reason Samsung made them less convenient at every new "S" generation, and nowadays we got like 13 inch screen "S" tablets, lol.
For those complaining about the low disk space and non-upgradability, just root your device and install Lineage OS, as Samsung's original Android version was already filled with bloatware taking a lot of space. And for extra storage just use an SD card.
This tablet may not be the most rugged but the bronze version looks damn classy and still holds up performance-wise today, even if you might not be able to play the most recent games (who uses Android for high-graphics gaming anyways?).

I am using it now to post this. What aggravated me was Google. They can see fit to allow YouTube t.v app to still be supported on this but not regular YouTube. The Google play movies still works too. Mine is running android 5.* but there's claims of android 6 update for it. It's not that it can't keep up with its hardware they phased it out with software and that's infuriating.

My Tab S8.4 still runs :) Battery is almost dead, but plugged to charger, works like a charm. Any idea where to get a battery in Sri Lanka?
