At times stops charging... Back for repair till I gave up ... Currently my brother choose to repair it for me ... still goes off while using it .. anyway I have another phone this is my second one ...lol

I highly suspect that Xiaomi made it difficult on purpose (they don't really want users to change the ROM, because they want to keep harvesting data from the users); so make sure to just wait until the time, and don't try to mess with it, otherwise they will find excuse to add more days till unlock.

I spent like at least a few months to finally find a right version that works without major issues (there's still minor issues such as stabilization and zooming though no big deal for me).

Will using banking apps cause any issue with this? If you root it, yes, most likely; then some would suggest other workaround though it's a hit and miss.
Meanwhile, if you don't root it, bank app should work as normal.
I use a bank app no problem without google (using an AOSP with microg), but don't take quote from me on this, because it really depends on bank.
But in case it doesn't work, you can still use your browser, which is a little less convenient, but better for privacy (as long as you don't use google chrome or something that tracks you).

Will using banking apps cause any issue with this? Depends on the apps ... Some banking/payment apps triggered & become unusable when the phone in unlocked bootloader state.
Just relock bootloader to be safe or just find solution with root & magisk .. But I'm not really recommend the latter if you're using the phone as your daily driver.. Modern android in lock bootloader state is pretty secure, no need to compromise it with root & magisk.

After last 1-2 update, phone has... moreUnlock bootloader -> wait a few days -> download fastboot ROM of your desire firmware -> flash using mi flash -> lock bootloader if you wish to before flashing
Remember to backup all the data before unlock the bootloader as it will wipe the entire phone.
I don't think x3 have anti rollback as I downgrade it in the past .. Just make sure you unlock bootloader first whatever you wish to do.. As long as the phone manage to enter fastboot, there is nothing to worry about.

WARNING : do not, under any circumstances, try to downgrade the phone to an earlier stock ROM -even if your bootloader is unlocked. The "Anti-rollback protection" feature is enabled on all Xiaomi phones since 2018 or so => downgrading the ROM can (and will !) lead to a "hard brick", which guarantees you a trip to a Xiaomi authorized Service Center !
There are some ways to accomplish such a downgrade but you need to know EXACTLY what to do, so be careful and take all the time you need to read up on it... Godd luck to you ! ;)
