iQOO 11S will have a regular SD 8 Gen 2 chipset but paired with an improved dedicated display processor

The S in iQOO 11S will stand for “Super”, and the new phone will bring “super-vision technology”, “super-resolution”, and “super-frame concurrency” for a “high-definition high-frame visual experience”, according to the machine translation from Chinese. Interestingly enough, official renders don’t have “V2” written on the camera island, suggesting the vivo brand might lose the proprietary V2 ISP in favor of the display chip.

The new phone will likely have a 6.78” LTPO4 AMOLED with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution. The panel itself is excellent, as we established in our iQOO 11 review - it is super bright with impressive color accuracy.
