I still use this phone, default os really sucks, but i have successfully installed ressurection remix OS android 7.1.1, it is a bit trick to install, but everything is working ok, now. The only limitation now is the RAM.

been using this since 2017. it may be very laggy now but i tried to install an old version of hiby music player (can't install newer versions, then tweaked with personal sound settings), enhanced with its in-app dolby app. the sound quality is really great for a non-expensive setup.

My primary mobile got water damaged and I had this mobile in extra, so right now I am using this mobile and I haven't installed any apps it is having just preinstalled apps.
Mobile is doing its job just fine. No lags on making/receiving calls . I use its hotspot to work on my laptop and it does the job.
Also it has 2GB ram but in gsmarena it shows 1gb ram.

I think I had this one since June 2015, but after I installed an official firmware update, the device permanently entered Android recovery mode and never booted to Android again. How did lenovo manage to brick my device?

i've had phones with similar specs as this a6000 but this one is so laggy buggy,disappointed ,i wish i did not break my asus, it also has 1gb ram but it runs lot better than this a6000

Hello,
I am using this phone from last 4 years. I know its ram & internal memory is lower than the requirements.
But I found that it has a very clear Camera quality & sound quality which I like most of this phone. Whenever I play game it lags. But if you not play game then it works very fine. Also battery is good.
Its my opinion.

just want say thanks for A6000 it stood for more than 4 years
phone cost lower than the economic category . good with only basic apps . should remove all unnecessary apps & games use only calls & internet with necessary apps /// a lot of hang with GPS Apps .. whatever goodbye A6000 u became phone from past .. & welcome for the new brother from lenovo family K9 also belong to the economic category

phone is not good w.r.t network and internet speed, phone hang many times, poor battery life.

I use this phone since year 2015. My GPS navigation fail almost every time I use. GPS unstable, signal lost make me sick. Dolby Sound system not good as per-claimed. I buy this because of "Dolby Sound System" but it fail me. Front camera almost not functioning when insufficient light. 8 MP should be better. Battery only last for 12 hours with moderate usage. I'm not a gamer.
Things I liked with this phone, it serve me for 3 years, not fail me other than those mentioned before. Cost me RM 800 to buy, now I can see a lot of good phone with that kind of price tag. I'm looking for new phone now.
