Why is this tablet no working in nigeria networks and also the Whatsapp. Is not working too.

I used this tab in India. But I am not able to call others and not yet receiving calls. Networks are shown but not able to call. I can't see dialer and call settings in this tab. If anybody knows to configure settings please let me know guys

Did it allow you to bypass the FreedomPop activation ?
I want to load this tab with movies and give it to kids for long drives.Don't care about the LTE or mobile data.
I am seeing comments on SlickDeals that freedompop baits u when u activate this tablet.True ? Or I can simply buy the tablet n remove the SIM n use it for wifi ?

I want to use it for... moreYou probably already have found out that you can use wifi only and you don't have to have a carrier but just in case you haven't already found out, YES you can use it strictly on wifi. I purchased mine and it came with Freedom Pop (free phone calls & text messaging) already installed and Sprint as the carrier but I have not activated either. I strictly use mine on wifi. The free phone service is great but I just don't need it. I got the tablets for $49(2) & $54 (1) because they were cheap and if my BabyLoves(grandchildren) dropped and broke them I wouldn't cry so much. I got them a rubber type case and they love them. I played around with their's so much, I got my own. We truly enjoy them. They are easy to use and download things. My granddaughter is into the selfies and she is 6 and has taught me a thing or two about how to use them. The cameras (2) are not that good but it suits the 4 yr & 6 yr old just fine. I'm not a tech geek but I do like to learn about technology, so I know basics. And this tablet is basic, no real bells and whistles, and the screen color is not as vibrant as other tablets, but it gets the job done. I would buy another one if I had the need for it.

FASIH, 05 Mar 2016how we can instal whatsapp
Some tablet can't install Whatsapp such as iPad etc. In order to use Whatsapp on this type of device follow the instruction bellow.
1.Go to www.whatsapp.com in your browser and switch to Desktop Mode(Not all browser are the same or have this option)
2.Use your phone which has Whatsapp install and already register to an account to scan the QR Code(Display on your tablet)
Done! Now you can use Whatsapp on this type of tablets :D

Can this be used for just hooking up to wifi only? I want to use it at craft shows and I gave wifi there I don't want to hook it up to my Verizon carrier?
