I can't even use it as a back-up phone because of the SIM card size. The standard only allows me to buy older models and this is the newest model that got out in 2014 with Android 4.4. It still works though.

Bought in October 2014.
BATTERY: 1.5h Rapid charge. At first, it lasted 4-5 days at most. Now it last around 2 days without using it. Half-day or less watching videos.
APPS: Only works "fine" Youtube, Whatsapp and Instagram. Had to disable most of Google-related apps. Using another source app mail.
WEB Navigation: It works but it's like very slow. I use a 50mb optic fiber internet but this is 2G...
CAMERA: It's quite bad and I'm not trying to be picky. I use a digital camera for that when I want to take some photos. People may think I'm a tourist thought. There's no selfie cam.
AUDIO: When I record the quality is quite amazing and the volume is high.
VIDEO: Up to 450p. It's fine quality according to my needs.
OTHER: There's no LED, is very good plastic not a crack in both screen and backside. I'm a little clumsy so it's a plus.
CONCLUSION: It's a casual low-end phone for calls/chat and recording at most. Can be a last resort backup when going to the toilet to watch some videos.

I have this as a backup phone. It still performs like champ and is small and light. Very good device and reliable too. Also recently received an security update of some kind which is very surprising. Curios to know what exactly was fixed...

My wife has this phone for 2 years and she is very satisfied. Her only problem is that don't work the Internet connection with data (WiFi connection works perfectly). Can somebody please help?

It is for sure just plastic, and I guess I got the bad battery. Mine would last only about 16 on standby

I have myself an L40 D160 bought in 2014 and it does have an internal memory of 1,5GB not 4GB. I actually had to insert an additional 8GB SD card.

Hi.l have a big problem.my gmail,Google play service work but when l want go to Google play stor or Google play game or Google+ they say you should make a Gmail account but when l want mack my gmail don't work but l have a gmail at gmail application

This phone does not have Gorilla Glass 2.
It doesn't have any kind of glass.
This has a plastic front mine scratched and is visible when turned on

Great brandy smartphone for ~50€ but people who want more than basics should look elsewhere. This phone is built for average people who want phone to be phone with added everyday extras that other phones have without overdosing them and without spending money for stuff they may not use at all. I guess it is cool for kids and suitable for old too. Also it's small size comes with small buttons so while it is handy to use it needs some time to get used to but in overall it is worth the purchase.

Memory is terrible,have a 4gig SD card fitted and it says not enough memory when updating the one app that has been downloaded.tech say its for music,so why sell a phone with expandable memory if it can't be used for phone memory!

Great phone, except for the battery life. If I get 2 days from a charge I'm over the moon. I switch off most functions to preserve life, but 2 days is still poor. My old Nokia stayed charged for 3 /4 days. Is it the poor quality battery that LG use, or the extra options that drain power? what I can do to extend battery life?
