The spec of this model should an upgrade, not downgrade. From octa core 1.7ghz on previous to this new model of octa core 1.3 ghz is not a good idea. I wonder what is going on?

Guys meizu m2 note has 1.3 GHz only. My ZTE Blade V has 1.2 GHz. Will m2 note be slow ??? Octa core 2g ram and 1.3 GHz CPU. ?????????

Anonymous, 02 Jun 2015Yeah,they down graded the GPU and Processor as you pointed ... moreIt wont be that cheap outside of china and moreover the very point of a next generation phone is to offer better performance throughout. Mali 760 is a high end gpu whereas 720 is a lower to midrange gpu. Thats a huge dive for a newer generation phone.

They had to cut costs somewhere so the MT6752 SoC and Mali T760 found on the M1 Note both had to be replaced with cheaper components. It should also be noted that the $130 price tag (999 RMB) is available ONLY in China. Resellers will markup the price by at least 30%. It's still not confirmed if this phone will work on any LTE band in the US or Canada.
