Would google services (gmail, gdrive, yt) work just as well on gbox compared to a non-restricted android tablet? I would like to know if there's any kind of friction that I might expect since I'm considering one of their products (specifically the matepad 11.5" S).

I have gt3 pro on Samsung and I bought it... moreif you are eyeing Huawei that has no Google services fear not there is a lot of trash talking but just get the app named "gbox" you can work your Google services on Huawei phone NP. Notificatios and on screen icons are no problem too

Great watch. I kinda enjoyed messing around sideloading apps, photos and watchfaces. Sturdy and sharp looking.

Do you feel difference here? Huawei most people saying that have accurate GPS, i agree, some people really blame Samsung for that. But i never had this problem. I don't know why other have, maybe problem is not device, maybe problem where they living. Signal of GPS in some world location really working bad. Maybe in China or friendly to China countries like Russia good working only devices from China? What a suprise. I don't know why some people blame Samsung, mine Samsung watches do not have this problem. Working like ice cream in hot summer. Very good. About features, i know some Huawei watch users (not this model) which can't answer a call, to write back to SMS, even check blood pressure. ECG and etc. What you saying about features the same? Huawei exspensive models maybe have all features, i don't know that. I don't interesting in Huawei products a lot of years. But cheaper Huawei models don't have many features like have Samsung. So get off from me with your theory. Huawei is interesting just for probably some Asia users, but not in west world where Samsung is one of leader and one of the best company. People know what Samsung devices is much more better.

I have gt3 pro on Samsung and I bought it after Huawei Mate 20 pro (which was great phone btw). The watch connects to Samsung s24 ultra as great as to Huawei. All operations are in the app. There was a bit fuss with downloading the app on Samsung but after forcing the phone to download it, no problem whatsoever. I want to buy the watch for my partner so looking for information about gt4. I use mine mainly as health tracker and I appreciate the battery life. The OS is so clean and nice. The watch looks good overall as well and is pretty resistant for scratches. I really like my gt3 pro and I am gutted that Huawei is blocked from Android and Google services. They have some great gear which I personally prefer more than Samsung or Google Pixel. But I use YouTube so Google services is a must in phone for me :(

Samsung is second manufacture by selling watches, thanks to Wears OS Samsung climbs on the heels to Apple. What doing Huawei? Oh they in the end of list, because they are better, so people buying it - slowly and with small parts - ops :D Cheers :)
