what about the shutter lag that dxomark reports? based on that test it is similar to S24 ultra. it is very important for me to know since I have a toddler at home.

I returned my 14 ultra due to the bad battery life blurry camera zoom shots and lens fogging issue and got a vivo x100 pro and it's night and day better then the 14 ultra.
Better battery better camera better ergonomics better phone all round.

Is there any update on Improved Dynamic Range??
I make causal videos on my room & outside & I don't want to buy a camera thinking phone cameras produce decent videos these days, Is the xiaomi 14 ultra is good for Videos ?

I've never seen that from trusted reviewers or myself but only from random comments online. Probably that says it's more like users and their broken programs fault.

It's literally one of the most expensive devices available right now. In most countries it's more pricey than iphone, samsung lol. Xiaomi is good but not as good as you think. Iphone video is the best but picture quality it depends.... More like personal taste.

It has very limited compatibility with T-Mobile only on 5G B41 only and you can't make or receive calls over T-Mobile 5G.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra is the best smartphone camera system ever in an android platform. It's better photo and video quality than Vivo X100 Pro, Samsung S24 Ultra and even iPhone 15 Pro Max. This is the best camera system in a smartphone in Q1 and Q2 2024 in it's price ratio. It can even rival mirrorless camera with 1 inch sensor in terms of photo and video quality.

Location is not always active. My S21 ultra, with the same usage had at least 10 hours of battery life. And my old T10 pro at least 6-7 hours, after 3 years

Anonymous, 02 May 2024It's hard to determine what is "normal use".... more30 minutes calls, 30 minutes browsing, 4-5 photos, 15 minutes mail. On my 10 T Pro, after almost 3 years of use, 6-7 hours is the time of the battery with the same use as described . Used as described by you, the battery life is less then 4 hours . It's INSANE

For me it's camera, a lot of photos and videos, browsing the net, listening to spotify and so on... Ofcourse full brightness because I usually use my phone outside... For that kind of the usage yea it's pretty much normal.
