I've had this phone for for a while now and here's my honest opinion:
- No software issues or crashes (as someone mentioned here!)
- Wi-Fi and BT are fast and reliable
- I've had some weird issues with 4G on the 2nd sim slot and it solved it self and I had no idea how or why
- you can only use 1 sim card and an SD card but if you have a 2nd sim you can't use an SD card.
- camera is ok but too filtered/sharpened for my taste
- charging is so fast it's amazing
- battery life is more than great
- screen is responsive and very clear even under direct sun light
- no heating or hardware issues
- the included silicon case is great and the default screen protector is a nice addition
- call audio is clear and coverage is good
- build quality is good
- loud speaker are more than enough and strike a good balance of clarity and loudness
- TL;DR : this is a very good phone for the price and I have no big I issues or regrets, however if you care about the camera I wouldn't consider a Xiaomi phone altogether.

Iniko116, 20 May 2024does it support ir blaster??I have the phone and it does have the "Mi Remote" app with an option to "Add remote" so I assume it does have an IR Blaster although I haven't had the change to test it.

Does the phone heat up during use?I had no heat issues and It charges super fast, especially compared to my old phone (Galaxy A7 2018).
I live in a hot climate and always have the phone case on yet all is good

After four months of using, i bet this phone wont even handle hyperos 2..
Here are some things to consider though.
- Camera isnt really that much better as expected, i could say its "ok" especially for the ultrawide cam.
- Recording seems fine, i barely use it so dont get info from me in terms of recording quality.
- The 120hz can barely be felt. Even with it on, scrolling in homescreen doesn't even look so 120hz.
- Speakers are fine, could be louder, but it isnt. I think 24 Lufs is a lie.
- And yeah

My experience has been so funny, especially after upgrading to hyperos.
On miui, it was crashing too much. There will be pop ups saying system ui stopped working, but it shocks me that hyperos had more, i thought ut would improve 😭.
And on miui, customizations are still open for many.
Not really many issues with miu.

On Hyperos on the other hand... its a nightmare.
Customization became somehow limited, you can no longer use SetEdit to edit system elements.
Lockscreen customization isnt really that exciting, there's no depth effect or the Magazine Style lockscreen which is a bummer, you can get it through methods but it wont work properly. The clock won't also animate itself from aod to lockscreen.
App crashed on random times, mostly chrome for no reason and samsung health or any health monitoring apps.
System UI crashes more than miui, sometimes the phone wont even open until you wait to click the power button like five times.
Backing off apps in landscape mode is a mess. Sometimes it gets stuck on landscape mode, including the homescreen, whether you like it or not, even if you turn on rotation on and off.
Opening apps are quite laggy, also backing off them.
The average fps this phone can get to is like 60 even if 120hz is on.
while in gaming, around 12-35 fps on average even if 120hz is on.
sd 685 wasn't the choice for this phone, there's no "Maybe", cause it just isn't.
Could've been dimensity 6080 but it was occupied by the Chinese version.
I'd say this phone can only be used for back ups or normal usage, not gaming
Also, ads are appearing after hyperos update on system apps.
