Hey guys, does it really have a compass/magnetic sensor? The "Sky Map" app needs that and I'm not sure if the specs are correct because on the official product page there's nothing about that.
Thanks in advance.

AnonD-31561, 13 Apr 2013I'm talking about cost/benefit. Worthless already outdat... morerafaelluik,

I´ve been searching for an Android smartphone (my first one) for 1 mouth, D1 and L7 were two of my possible choices, and I bought D1 for R$408,00 yesterday (still waiting for it). If I could get L7 for less than R$500 in a good reputation store, I´d probably still be thinking about it!
But the fact is: the lowest price I could get L7 was R$ 480,00, CASH, in a really small store in downtown, Rio de Janeiro (like those stores near Uruguaiana Street, no guarantee at all!). To buy it in a good store, it would cost, at least, R$670.
So, the difference would be MUCH MORE than R$40.

This smartphone is really good and fast. I paid R$405 for it and it does everything I need extremely fast without hanging or freezing and with a very low battery consumption.
I am sure that this smartphone does what 90% of the population needs. To pay R$2000 to use facebook, do some browsing, skype or whatsup is a mere stupidity.By the way it does this things extremely well.
I am buying a D3 for my son for R$645 because he wants a bigger screen and a more powerful camera. He is paying the R$200 extra from his allowance. I will post about his D3

1785 is big for 3.5 Hvga
motorola is now owned by Google(more updates i guess)

Everybody is complaining about the cellphones that Motorola did in the past few years, but nowadays things are different. Again, comparing D1 with L7, i'd choose D1.. L7 is a complete fiasco.

Razr D1 is built to be an entry smartphone. The L7 has this price because LG wanted to decrease de price to give room for the next L generation, that's obvious. If you want to compare, you have to compare smartphones of the same level(As I said, the D1 rivals are L3 II and Xperia E dual, and they are not better than the motorola D1)

This phone is upgradable to Android 4.2 (Motorola Mobility Brazil says it's "upgrade guaranteed" to the most new Android version or Android 4.2).
