lubyq, 20 Apr 2012I just would like to know if the battery is replaceble."I just would like to know if the battery is replaceble"

No, it isnt - not on fly anyway. Maybe with special tools and knowhow. The advantage is a more splashresistant mobile. A userreplaceable 3300mAh battery would also probably added yet another 1-2 mm thickness of the phone.

Wind, 18 Apr 2012It would be better if it was quad-core, or at least 1.5GHz ... moreIt's not intended as an upgrade for DROID RAZR MAXX, but it's the GSM version of DROID RAZR MAXX ..

For the extra battery i will buy this phone. What happen to Iphone and Galaxy is, you have to married with the charger and you have to find a place to charge your phone from time to time, which is lame, I want a phone that can at least last one whole day of moderate use.

Razr Maxx is the answer but for me it's not perfect.

            1) I hope that it have larger screen maybe 4.7in it's more comfortable to view website and email in larger screen.

            2) No super amoled screen because it use more battery when viewing website that have a lot of white background.

            3) better phone design the Razr Maxx is not appealing to me.

            4) up to date software ICS maybe?

            5) Better processor that have power saving feature and can boost the processing speed when needed (ex Tegra 3)

I don't understand why the manufacturer race for thinnest phone? that is overrated for me as long as it's not too bulky. If Motorola have all these things I think Razr Maxx can sell like a hot cake.

Wind, 18 Apr 2012It would be better if it was quad-core, or at least 1.5GHz ... moreTake in example the dual core 1.5GHz snapdragon. Higher clock frequency, but exactly same performamce output as this TI 1.2GHz. Don't be fooled by numbers.

Quad-core is for 720 displays and higher. No point in using quad-core on any lower resolution than that.

Compared to Droid RAZR MAXX, this is the same phone only GSM version.

It would be better if it was quad-core, or at least 1.5GHz dual-core. This way it's no better than DROID RAZR MAXX

Bahram, 14 Apr 2012Motorola filled the empty thin space with extra battery. No... more"Motorola filled the empty thin space with extra battery. Noting more than XT910".

Well, for some of us "extra battery" makes the deal - regardless "nothing more". Its a mystery why the manufactors havent crasped that yet. Not each and every smartphone - just ONE battery beefed-up smartphone from each manufactor would be enough. Hopefully the Motorola MAXX starts a trend.
