Hi Guys, my xoom now have the android kit kat, i use the omni room. It´s great, many functions are new on it. If you have a xoom, install kit kat, it´s great.

flashed it yesterday ...rom is awesome but still a bit buggy....got a mz604 with the everest variant of the kitkat rom on it ...really wish i could get the 3g working i've googled hard...no luck....got any ideas? would 'preciate

If you update to KitKat and choose the ART runtime, you can lower app memory requirements and extend the battery life of your XOOM considerably. Yay, KitKat! Boo, Google for no official port!

For any who may be struggling with getting your XOOM to recognize the SIM, I just discovered that the SIM card must be situated in a little "tray" in order to seat properly. The unit I bought as refurbished came with neither and imagine my dismay at finding the tray for sale online at only $54.00!

Hi guys. For those who bought the US version, the official Jelly Bean update has been out for quite awhile (last 6 months?).
However the Asian version remains stuck on ICS.
There has been no update whether this is going to change.
Due to Moto's losses, it seems they will just support current models.

So i won't expect any official update for the Xoom, the other way are the custom roms, which they never get the hardware working 100%

Finally I have rooted and upgrade my Xoom, and believe me..It became smoothed and very Responsive than the last time which was running Honeycomb.. Jellybean is great, now I'm loving my Motorola Xoom..^_^

Because theres no update here in the Philippines, and im very dissappointed for that. I suggest honeycomb is very slow for my xoom. Sometimes it Hangs so I have to restart my xoom again..;(

I'm using with CM 10.1 and it's perfect.
