Alcatel 808 is a every good phone and durable with nice factions. I suggest that the maker of the phone should jut improve the phone at a level where it can perform all the factions than stopping making the phone. please you maker of the phone bring back the phone on the market.

My alcatel ot-808 has been locked by my friend and he said he wont give me the code so the phone is there doing nothing. and because of this i want u to give me a code to open it.

Take it into the service provider where you are connected they might be able to solve your connection issues by setting your networks settings etc in the right directions. I find mine wont connect to the home network because it isnt set to it.. I havent played around with it much since it had been set up by the Optus team. So get them to check for you what networks they can set you with.

I brought mine at a 24h service station in Bundaberg across the road from the Bundaberg Hospital. They are very old but durable mine has been run over and thrown across the room, dropped into the rain gutter by accident, sucked on by kids and dropped thousands of times and it still looks great hardly a scratch on it. It doesnt take a nano sim but it does have expandable memory and you can get on the net with it. But it wont use the network at home just its own when you have service. I need to get a new data cable for mine as I just only recently lost it after 5 years of having it. But they can be picked up from any where from a $2 shop or Woolworths, Just only updated to a new touch screen phone when I get that sorted out I might sell the old one. Just having trouble moving my contacts to the new one without a data cable and havent bothered to set up a sync account (cos I didnt know how to when I got it) So its rather bothersome.... -.- Till then check the service stations they get alot of discontinued stock pushed onto them.

Alcatel OT-808? My niece purchased 1 online from some website but she didnt receive any unit at all.
Are they phased out already? These are very nice phones, PLEASE PLEASE! bring them back to the market!

I got it in 2010, Unfortunately my screen is broken please advise me on how I can get a screen for replacement. It's working well but I need a screen.It is a wonderful phone, I love it.

I am using this phone over 2 years Nice cute phone. Calls sms can use and sweet for a girl. I relay enjoy this phone even with 2G. I recommend it. I feel like to buy a new one. Don't know wtr tz available in SriLanka now...I recommend it. Love my phone
