Galaxy S6/S6 edge Marshmallow update begins rolling out in Europe

Himanshu, 10 February, 2016

While we already knew it was imminent, the only question was exactly when. Well, the good news is that Android 6.0 for the Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 edge has finally started rolling out in Europe, with Poland - as usual - becoming the first European country where the update is now available.

Carrier T-Mobile is currently pushing the update to its variants of both flagship devices in the region. Worldwide, Poland is the second country where the update has rolled out - units in the company's home country of South Korea started getting the update at the end of the last month.

If you are a Galaxy S6/S6 edge owner in Poland, you should see an OTA update notification soon, if not already. However, if you're feeling impatient, you can also manually check for the update by heading to your handset's settings menu.
