Microsoft begins selling Lumia 535 in US for $149

Microsoft has finally started selling the Lumia 535 in the United States. The device, which was released in December last year and was only available in the country through Expansys, is now available for purchase from the US Microsoft Store for $149.

Specs-wise, the handset is powered by a Snapdragon 200 SoC with a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and an Adreno 302 GPU, and sports a 5-inch display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. It comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB expandable internal memory, and packs in a 1905 mAh battery.

In terms of camera, the Lumia 535 features a 5MP rear unit as well as a 5MP front snapper. It runs Windows Phone 8.1.

Ugly device with boring software. Looks so cheap with lagging unresponsive touch. In the end, microsoft will shut the devices division and focus on software. Matter of time...
