Street Dog, 07 Feb 2024I'm currently using Vivo y21t almost 20 months no prob... moreChina, India and a few European countries. The last ones might be what you're looking for but some Chinese sellers flash global rom on theirs.

There's also a G54 Power edition with 12gb ram and it's also sold in some European countries, even if GSMArena specs page specify that Power edition is India-exclusive.

I'm currently using Vivo y21t almost 20 months no problem at all. And I am thinking to buy Moto g54 5g, any suggestions? And it is global version??

European version has UFS 3.0 storage (8/256GB version)! It's insane that such a cheap phone has it o_O.

I am using the UK version. I can confirm it has a nano sim/esim dual sim configuration and has FM radio.

Bought this and am very happy. After years of Samsungs the stock Android was a shock. No notification reminders, etc. But easily remedied with apps from play store. Moto camera app has issues with videos where there's a kind of interference. I got the GCAM (google camera) app and now all good. I don't use games so can't comment on that. But for all else it is a cracker. Great value and will look to Moto again when this gets a bit leggy.

Dumped my Sams M23 5G after months of struggle, and just got a Moto G54.
Night and day people, nothing to complain with this new little guy.

Probyn, 21 Jan 2024Would you buy this or pay extra and get the Samsung A34?Buy the Motorola G54,

                    You won't regret it.

No issues in sunlight with the LCD screen which is fantastic quality.

The A34 is retailing at around £300 which is about twice the price of the Motorola G54.

Battery life is great on G54 - Last me about 3 days with light use.

Call audio quality is excellent and I receive calls on this even in very low signal areas.

                    Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Thanks to all the previous reviews who took time to write about this phone.

live in the UK I was considering a Samsung A14 4g but I read it was slow. I then considered an A14 5g which also had some issues.

My next 2 options were Motorola G54 (around £160) or the Honor Magic 5Lite (around £199) and some other phones around this price.

After looking at numerous reviews on Youtube for these phones and a number of alternatives I decided to purchase the Motorola G54 (8Gb Ram – 256Gb storage- but can be expanded to 10Gb Ram using Ram Boost software option)

See also the excellent reviews of the G54 here:

                            https://www.techradar.com
                            https://www.notebookcheck.net

FIRSTLY- AUDIO QUALITY FOR DURING CALLS WAS EXCELLENT WHICH IS ESSENTIAL FOR ME. I can honestly say that call audio quality is as good if not better than the Samsung Galaxy S10.

Here are some reasons to purchase the G54:

                            1. Screen quality is fantastic - High resolution and refresh rate up to 120Hz
                            2. Fast but ultra efficient Mediatek 7020 processor and GPU beating most phones around this price point.
                            3. Has Ram Boost option to boost Ram from 8Gb to 10Gb
                            4. Large 5000mah battery with battery saver options to extend the life of your battery
                            5. Takes the same battery as the Motorola G14 Battery as far as I can tell
                            6. Videos on Youtube show you how to replace battery in future
                            7. Camera quality is good but see professional reviews from Techradar etc for their excellent reviews regarding this.
                            8. Comes with a 20 Watt ‘Fast’ charger and phone charges at 15W which is more than fast enough for my needs.
                            9. No ‘Bloatware’ on this phone as it is as near to the ‘stock’ Android as you can get.

There are probably some things I have forgot to add to this list as there are so many good things about this phone for the price.

In summary, save yourself a lot of research and read the reviews I have listed above. Don’t hesitate, purchase this phone and you won’t regret it!

Petri S, 05 Jan 2024My review after 1 month: I bought Moto G54 in light green v... moreYou can select Ram Boost on your phone and add another 1Gb-2Gb.

I can do this on my G54 8/256 - So I have 10Gb of Ram now.

My review after 1 month: I bought Moto G54 in light green vegan leather with 4/128 gb memory. Not ideal, 8/256 would be much better of course, especially that 8gb would help a lot. I bought this one because it was a real bargain for just a couple of days at 99€ after which it became 199€ again here in Finland. At that price it's not a good deal and overpriced actually because 8/256gb costs 229€. But that is also too expensive in my opinion because a much better Moto G84 with 12/256gb can now be bought at 270€ with a great OLED screen and much better cameras including an ultrawide sensor which G54 doesn't have. G54 main camera isn't very good, only ok+ in very good lightning and without zooming! G54 can't actually zoom even to 2x because it fails to focus, that's why there's no 2x toggle in the camera app. Otherwise G54 is very nice, vegan leather finish is fantastic to have and it feels so good! It has a high quality LCD screen that gets very bright and with very good colours and blacks, and web browsing plus Instagram etc apps works flawlessly.

Have this phone for nearly a month. I am back with my old phone a Xiaomi 11 Lite 5g NE..why?? The moto batery sucks...drain fast. Also sound not good...sorry Motorola this thing not worth it imho. My 2 cents.

                                        Looking at the G54.
But have a G31. Is it worth changing up to the 54 or not.
I have been very happy with the 31, but is the 54 the way to go.
                                        Any downsides to this?
Would you recommend a screen guard?
I always use a carry case.
Thanks for your help and guidance guys.
