Oppo N3 teased with a space-grade metal construction

23 September, 2014

The Oppo N3 is launching in October, but the company won't be missing the opportunity to do some more teasing until then. This latest iamge comes from Oppo's official Weibo account and suggests the N3 will be using some premium materials in its design.

"Built for what may come," says the photo with a satellite pictured on the bottom right. Oppo has added in the description of the photo that the phone will using "aerospace grade metal" in order to strike the balance between lightweight and toughness. Such a material also allows manufacturing of slimmer panels, so we hope it will help keep the N3 profile under control.

This information aligns nicely with the exclusive leak of the phone we received last week. There, we saw two Oppo N3 official photos showing the smartphone's metal clad body.

There's still no word on specifications, though. We'll know more as the launch day of the Oppo N3 approaches. Mark your calendars for October 29, when Oppo will debut the N3 in Singapore.
