Redmi Turbo 3 launch date, key specs, design officially revealed

Xiaomi-owned brand Redmi announced a new series last week, which will focus on raw performance. The first phone of the series will be called Redmi Turbo 3, and today, we learned its official announcement will be this Wednesday, April 10.

The brand revealed a Redmi Pad Pro will also arrive at the event, and shared a few specs for the slate.

Redmi started the teaser campaign early this morning, revealing major specs of the new Turbo 3 phone. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, have up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, and feature advanced cooling.

The phone will also be extremely thin and light with a profile that's under 8 mm and a 179-gram body. It will have a display with a resolution greater than 1080p, thin bezels, and flat sides. There will be two cameras on the back with massively protruding lenses, and a single selfie shooter inside a punch hole.

The Redmi Pad Pro was pictured with a stylus and a keyboard cover. The official poster also revealed some specs, like a 12.1” diagonal screen of 2.5K resolution and a 10,000 mAh battery.

The Wednesday launch will begin at 7 PM local time. The Turbo 3 phone is expected to arrive internationally under a different name – Poco F6 - but we are still waiting for anything official from Xiaomi on the matter.

hopefully the Redmi Pad Pro has more Pro spec : 5GsimCard, 1Tb internal, Dual Cam include UltraWide. Lenovo Legion Y700 (2023) is excellent with it's dual usb-C and 8.8" option. but missing 5GsimCard support, AmoLED display. ...

I also doubt that's a scanner but that dot is definitely not in a bad place for a scanner, quite the opposite, and if it keeps the price down as well then why not. Though I doubt there is that much of difference in price between the various scan...

GSMA is pretty slow, NBC already covered this two days ago. I recommend everyone (including GSMA's editorial team) this site.
