Samsung Galaxy M55 price in India leaks

Vlad, 28 March 2024

A few hours ago, Samsung made the Galaxy M55 official in Brazil, but of course the device will be offered in other countries as well. One of them will be India, and now the pricing for the handset in India has been leaked by a usually reliable source.

As you can see, the M55 is said to start at INR 26,999 (approximately $323 or €299) for the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you want 256GB of space, then you'll need to shell out INR 29,999 ($359 or €332), and if you want to go for the top model, that one comes with 12GB of RAM alongside the 256GB of storage for INR 32,999 ($395 or €366).

That is, of course, if this rumor pans out. Samsung has yet to introduce the M55 for the Indian market, but the official launch can't be far away now.

To recap, the Galaxy M55 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120 Hz Super AMOLED touchscreen with 1,000-nit peak brightness and an embedded optical fingerprint sensor, and it's powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. The aforementioned storage is expandable via a microSD card slot.

On the rear there's a triple camera system with a 50 MP main snapper with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP macro camera, while for selfies you get a 50 MP snapper. The phone has a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging. It runs Android 14 with One UI 6 on top and will get four major Android updates and five years of security patches.
