Week 31 in review:, Moto G, OnePlus 2, Galaxy Note 5

Another week has passed and it's time to recap what was most exciting in the mobile realm. Action is definitely starting to pick up and rumors are giving way to exciting new device announcements.

This week awe had a few, with Motorola revealing the third generation Moto G and Moto X devices. Meanwhile OnePlus took the wraps off its new flagship called 2.

The Lava Pixel V1m which arrived this week as the ambassador to the second generation of Android One devices. The new specs sheet looks really promising and if it does indeed come close to the new Google reference guide lines, the Android One might just have what it takes to achieve the company's goal of reaching the next billion Android users.

And as for the phones we are still eagerly waiting for - there is undoubtedly the Galaxy Note 5, which has been flooding the rumor mill. The high-end phablet should be made official at an official Samsung Unpacked event of August 13, along with a beefier version of the S6 edge - the S6 edge+. The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra and the LG G Flex 3 are two other phones to look out for.
