Is there any way to improve the color saturation. I wonder why nobody's talking about it. Everything else is Ok but coming from M31 to A55 I'm dissapointed by how the screen looks so dull and washed out in the A55.

Pk, 08 Jun 2024Kido there is built in option 4 thtDo enlighte nme please on how to hide apps on a Samsung device?
if you meant by "Hide Apps" under the Settings then yes I have tried that. But that feature is totally useless. Because of the way it was designed there is no way you can find or invoke the hidden apps. You have to go to the feature again to look for your apps. That is not the whole point of hiding apps. Hyper OS, Nothing OS and (in some ways) Oxygen OS does it miles better than One UI.

This is a superb phone. I have the S24U but it's overkill, not worth the price.

Cake, 08 Jun 2024This or the OnePlus Nord 3?If you care more about cameras, IP67 Water/Dust protection, Much longer battery life, Less Heat, 4 Years of OS upgrades, microSD, premium aluminum build & design (and you don't mind the larger size)... then you should consider A55

But if you care more about a -slightly- faster chip, twice as fast charging speed, alert slider, a physical proximity sensor & a -slightly- higher pixel density of 450 (vs. 400)... then you should consider OnePlus Nord 3. But all of that will come at the cost of two less years of updates + a lot of heat (especially when charging at 80 Watts) + Worse battery life especially at the 1240p resolution + Worse cameras that are limited to 30fps (Selfie & Ultrawide) + No water resistance + No microSD...

              It also comes down to:
              - Whether you prefer the design of OneUI or OxygenOS (which is just a rebranded ColorOS from Oppo with less Oppo bloatware)
              - Whether you have a specific use case like using gaming emulators that are compatible with Mali GPU drivers but not an XClipse GPU driver.

In short: most people would rather pick A55.

What third-party launcher would you guys recommend? I'm looking for one that has the option to hide apps.

Sounds like a great phone(using se 2020) but Samsung why you have to make 6.6 incher 77.4 millimetres wide? Like OnePlus Nord 3’s screen is 6.74 in and it’s 75.1 millimetres wide (if i remember right) and why you don’t put a zoom camera instead of an 5mp macro, because who really takes macro shots with their phone?

Gf just bought this. So far it works fine although it's a bit too big imo. Other than that it looks and feels same to me like my S23. The only downside we found was that it has no 6.1 AI features, despite having newer CPU and GPU though I believe, in one way or another, they'll eventually come. Also fingerprint reader is a bit slower.
For around 350 euros it seems worth it. For starting price 500+ for 256 GB version... not that worth it. It already seems to be very popular with phone with ppl (according to phone carrier survey in my country (SK)) and seems like it'll be a decent phone overall. If not i'll come back here and complain :D.

Person, 06 Jun 2024Should I get poco x6 pro or this? Never get x6 pro its battery drains like water. Get the poco F5 or the most stable poco F5 Pro. The newer ones F6 have general slow battery with F6 pro but they don't drain. Fx6 pro have good battery that drains..

Anonymous, 06 Jun 2024I heard S23 FE has terrible battery life and it overheats.I don't have any of those issues. Maybe the one with the Exynos chip does that

Person, 06 Jun 2024A15: Helio G99 A55: Exynos 1480 Source: trust me broPros of Samsung Exynos 1480 against a Helio G99
                                Supports 199% higher memory bandwidth (51.2 against 17.1 GB/s)
Shows significantly better (up to 77%) AnTuTu 10 score – 734K vs 415K
Has a smaller size transistor (4 versus 6 nm)
25% higher CPU clock speed (2750 vs 2200 MHz)
                                Higher GPU frequency (~30%)
                                Runs Games and tasks better.

Anonymous, 06 Jun 2024Yes I agree that S23 FE can be better in some aspects, but ... moreThe negatives of the S23 FE are too much. It has has larger bezels & a much worse battery life than A55. A55 lasts 13 hours, whereas S23 FE is only 8 hours. A35 lasts 12 & A54 lasts 11. (not to mention the ugly silver ring around the S23 FE's front facing camera)

Janika, 05 Jun 2024I had high hopes for this phone, after owning an A52-5G and... moreYes I agree that S23 FE can be better in some aspects, but S23 FE was 100$ more expensive than A55 in my country, if it was less expensive I'd go for S23 FE too, because of camera and faster chipset. I just couldn't justify 100$ difference.

At this price, 128GB storage should not be available anymore. Like a mid range saloon with 20L tank.
