The one problem I have with dual SIM phones is the fact that the second SIM is always 2G/ GSM. Would be OK if the first SIM was LTE and the second 3G..

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2014Brickphone, lolLol, someone is still loving in the early 2000's where the aim was to have the smallest, thinnest, lightest phone possible.

There is a reason that phones are 4.7-5.2" and phablets 5.5-6".... THAT IS WHAT SELLS MOST!

Note 4 is the best high end class mobile, only missing is Dual SIM version, DUAL SIM is realy most important requirement of any business class mobile phone. Bring this to india, it will Rock the market.

.... and more Note 4 variants will come before the end of this year.

michael, 22 Oct 2014this phone have suport in all language,or about english? an... moreProbably Chinese and English. No Google Play, all google services are blocked (at an IP level) in China.

BTW, incorrect news again as the "SIM-free version" as they call it here don't support CDMA or China Telecom.

Humm here we go again . Samsung announce all your phones at the same time and ensure that customers in other parts of the world can get them .

What do you mean it launched quietly in China? Do you mean there were no big crowds or sale numbers? And if so where is your source for that?

I have mine and I have to say that its everything I expected from the Note 4.

Screen is fantastic, the audio is really impressive (no thanks to the included headphones) when paired with some decent IEM's or cans. Its the first phone I have used where I didn't feel the need to supplement it with a in-line amp to get punch in punchy tracks.

The camera is very impressive too, once again, its the first phone I have used that could do a good job in low light conditions, I took the results of images taken at night in reviews as I figured that the phone was mounted in a stand while the picture was taken to help avoid blur due to longer exposer but I was able to recreate night time shots that were crisp (within reason and that is me nit-picking).

The battery has been steller considering I have had it only a few days and have not been able to put it down for playing with it and yet after taking it off change at 7 in the morning, I find myself with 52% at 4pm. Samsung are to be commended and what was even more impressive is that the update for the battery improvements was already on the device when I got it. This unit must have been fresh of the boat.

Regarding the whole #gapgate "issue", I have tried to replicate pictures I have seen with cards in the gap and I cant do it, the best I could do was to slip in a sheet of EPOS thermo receipt paper in the gap, standard office weight A4 paper wouldn't fit so either Samsung have made some slight revisions to the device to limit this problem or its just a few bad devices that were not properly QC'd.

While I am aware that Samsung say it could grow in time, I think this is more a way of covering their backs like they did with the Note 3 that never showed this problem.

Also, I am very happy to report that it still fits in my desk docking stations (both official Samsung and unbranded). I have yet to check if the fast charging works when the cable must pass through the dock but I have a feeling that the unbranded dock will fair better as it doesn't have the 3 1/2 jack on it which leads me to believe that its just a straight pass-through since I can still get a data connection to my computer with it docked.

A little disappointed with some of the bloat and I seem to get an add once a day or so recommending that I download an app and some of the bloat seems to have no real benefit to most people outside of the US like the onscreen barcode recorder for voucher when you go to a shop. The app is designed to make it possible for a red light bar code reader to read the code without having issues with the screen reflection causing issues. For such a high price device, Samsung should not have sold out to various 3rd parties the possibility to load up some bloat.

I have yet to root the device as I would like to let more people do it first regardless of the many reports from people who have done it without a problem and some with minor issues related to XPOSED and S Health and Reactivation locks not being disabled prior to beginning the root process.

I am using the N910F version (International Note 4 which ships with the Qualcomm chipset).

The Last thing to mention is that the fingerprint reader is not bad, it does lack 99% working every time you get with the Apple devices but its really a matter of practice and I was found that its works far better if you swipe you thumb sideways over it while your holding it rather than having to hold it in one hand while using the other hand to unlock with the finger but jet be aware than if you don't have big hands this method might see you dropping it and testing out that GG3 screens strength.

I would love to write a full review of the device while delving into the deeper workings of the phone. I think that tomorrow I will try and use the phone as I would normally without constantly playing about with it to getting a more day to day idea of battery life and will then compare this with having the screen set in grey scale mode for a day to see if it makes a reasonable difference as its a novel feature.

                                      Peace out!
