It's a rubbish deal now there is a question that lenovo will interfere in Motorola or not? If lenovo interfaces than motorola will again get down.Lenovo won't need to interfare in Motorola.there is a big ques. That Motorola will run like before or not.

I've been rampantly following and waiting for it to finalize since the announcement so I can repetitively suggest our local Lenovo stores to stock up Motorola products on their shelves to be sold alongside their own products. But I guess, Google waited until Motorola officially launched their latest products such as Moto Maxx/Droid Turbo, Moto X2, and Nexus 6. Although, this article mentions that Motorola brand is still intact and that 'Lenoco wil operate Motorola as a wholly-owned subsidiary, it still seems vaguely fishy. Some shady matters that haven't been officially cleared yet by either company: Who will manufacture the next batches of the latest Motorola phones? Who will manufacture future waves of Motorola phones?

Its kinda sad to see google sell Motorola now that Motorola phones started to kick off. I hope they let Motorola do what they want and just stay out the way.

Now that acquisition is finally complete. I'd like to revisit those stores again and annoy them with suggestions for them to start officially selling Motorola products in-store/in-house or side-by-side with their own products. Perhaps, they could also manage establishing service/repair centers for Motorola, too

Well for me that's a great deal. Lenovo smartphones are fabulous and owning Motorola means having a higher catchment area in the United States, thus, boosting sales and on top of that Lenovo said that he won't even dare to touch Motorola using pure android.Seems to good for me

No more Motorola for me after it has been owned by a Chinese company. Bye bye Moto! Probably, Moto X (2014) will be my last Motorola phone.

i kinda dislike motorola being bought with lenovo. motorola itself is a solid company, with real vision and mission. even google don't dare to change it even after they bought it. but chinese company like lenovo just think about profit and patent wars, so even if they don't do anything to motorola it still gonna steal the bright light of hope that motorola once had. just my 2 cents

The key matter is for Lenovo to up their own reliability. Recently, fedup of flaws in OS X, I decided to experiment with migrating to Windows, and told a friend who works in a computer shop I loved the design and functionality of the Lenovo Yoga machines that turn into tablets etc. He immediately warned me to steer clear, because they kept coming back for repair. I ignored his advice, bought a £1200 Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro 13" brand new, and from a sealed box, it was DOA! Would not even wake up, fully charged! The forums are full of such issues. Lenovo products are innovative, nice to use and well priced, but if they are to respect the Motorola brand, they need to introduce Apple and Dell like reliability and support.

Lenovo, we want phones with expandable memory. I won't be buying any new Motorola phones, including the Nexus 6 because of that.

By Motorola being part of Lenovo, this make Motorola and Lenovo number 4 world biggest smartphone maker.

Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, Lenovo and LG.

Lenovo will not change Motorola brand name to Lenovo.
