I know, I see them every day as I travel. (Last week, I saw a working class woman buying an iPhone 6+. Am willing to bet the tax payer is funding it, and she'll use it to prod the screen and update Facebook whilst sitting in McDonald's whilst her kids stuff their faces with sugary drinks and fries.) If the iPhone could be docked like the Motorola phones of a year or so ago, and turn itself into a desktop device, then it's power would be of use. Currently, it's all wasted.

Do not underestimate the iPhone's CPU/GPU.
The chip is smaller then the latest s805. And contains more transistors and build with 20nm.
Thats why even it running at half the clockspeed / half the number of cores, it still defeat s805.
And that is not even talking about A8x or even iOS optimisation.
