Hence, apple will be copying an old tech, and seeling at a much higher price, and still might not be able to provide the quality of HTC, coz by then they will have a much advanced approach to a concept created by them. LOL

Copy Cats - HTC already has a beautifull fully working duo-camera system. Idiots at apple will just be copying this and naming it as there inevention or innovation, In reality, this is plagiarism.

That's the basic idea. The ride of other ideas. The general public has this misguided belief in them and their products. This they can sell you whatever they want for however much they want and the world foolishly embraces it this enabling it to continue.

Anonymous, 19 Nov 2014The small amounts of increments in the apple devices seems ... moreLol! Nice twist.
64bit on 1gb of ram making it more crashing and less stable is s gimmick.

The only people that said 64bit itself is a gimmick are the same ones that day every advancement is a gimmick.

There is a reason the 5 was more stable.
And those increments don't push the performance. They push apple's profits.
If you want to talk about performance enhancing.
Imagine this.... apple actually gave you your monies worth and actually worked on fixing the crashing and bugs rather than pushing 100 rushed updates a month.

1.8-2ghz cpu. Dual or even quad. 2-3GB of ram to handle the 64bit architecture better.... those two alpine would mean more performed and stability even with the buggy coding.
                For the 6 a 2,200-2,400mah battery.
Low battery capacity and profit are two huge factors into why you get low clocked cpu.
Even the camera. Yeah the software is good and larger pixels help. However imagine the same setup on a 12mp unit. And why couldn't they just make the 6 with OIS as well? Oh yeah. They both just absolutely had to be fractions thinner.

And let's not forget the costly memory without expansion. And still keeping 16gb base and knocking out 32gb?

All those things are well within capable with the price range of the iPhone and their profit. And would truly make the iPhone a very top end performer. Much more like the unrealistic claims of the users.
However in the end apple is all about the profit and trickery

[deleted post]An android / apple fanboy sees a scam in everything the other device has to offer. And only comment stupidly without knowing what he is talking about (commenting "#bendgate" for every news article related to apple for example)

I never said Apple perfected nfc (though they seem to have perfected the art of selling their product :P) . And yes nfc is way more functional in android. I said apple was pushing its users to bring use nfc payements which is going to bring it into mainstream. (these points were meant for the fanboys who always say 'android did it first'. Yes they did it first but popularising it is Apple. Mainly cos apple is gonna profit from it)

It is the same way with other manufacturers. There were big phones before. But who popularised and nailed it were Samsung with the Note series. Now people want it and Apple has to give them what they want..

Dave Granger, 19 Nov 2014I don't remember anyone "laughing" at the 64 bit ... moreI was not referring to the people who know what they were talking about. I was talking about the fanboys who didn't.

I'm not an expert but from my basic understanding..
I agree 64bit primarily gives access to have larger ram which has been the reason for the push to 64bit in PC world. But Apple's iOS doesn't need too much RAM. Mostly because of the lack of "true" multi tasking I guess.
And phone applications aren't as big memory hogs as desktop ones.

So apple is able to keep its ram lower which saves battery (idle ram unlike cpu cores cannot be switched off). That's why sometimes I feel Android core count and RAM race is a gimmick (still i use am octacore device :P)

But yes there will always be doubts of what is optimum RAM required for the 64bit to work efficiently.. Especialy after Qualcomm hype as to how Apple A7 was a gimmick.
Though benchmarks aren't really completely representative you might want to check out the comparison done by anadtech (particularly compare iphone 5 vs 5s as the RAM in both was 1GB when they made the architecture jump and you will notice the performance difference.
