Cyanogen can be blamed in this scenario for its not so professional behavior towards OPO. You can't blame Micromax as this company just cashed in on an opportunity. OPO should just ditch Cyanogen and go stock Android until they create a perfectly stable ROM loaded with tons of features offering better customizations along with clean looks.

This is actually great news, the only bad side of the phone is the buggy, unstable and unusable CyanogenMod that causes random reboots and other problems, create your own OS and rightfully annihilate all that Microwavemax competition that honestly sucks so hard that shouldn't even be allowed to sell.

Oneplus should go Vanilla Android way. This way they'll be the first ones to get updates thus building relationship with customers.

If the deal was non-exclusive for Micromax to use cyanogenmod everyone would be happy. Guess I'll be using Omnirom or Slimkat or Carbonrom or Paranoid Android or Vanir or Dirty Unicorns or AOKP etc etc from now on. Happy new year cyanogenmod and may the odds be ever in favour.

Cyanogen showing it's true colors. Now they are nothing but a money hungry boys. CM = overrated, always half baked roms, full of bugs and obscure problems.

No matter what my feelings are for OnePlus (hint: not a fan of their viral marketing based sales system) a deal is a deal. If Cyanogen Inc wanted to terminate the deal, then it should have gone through the proper channels and paid the termination fees to OnePlus.

Cyanogen Inc was so greedy that essentially sold the Indian market twice: the first time to OnePlus and then again to Micromax.

I've always been a fan o Cyanogenmod, but now (for the first time), I am fearing for the future of the OpenSource ROM.
Do always remember, OpenSource is made of the developers that contribute to the project without any elaborate contracts or formal affiliations. The backlash from this "soup-opera" may very well cause some of those contributers to move elsewhere... and that would be a real shame -- even if well deserved.

Well...can not estimate who lost what and how much...but Cyno definitely is less loved now than ever...signing a deal is fair..but an exclusive one..just not a mark of a professional organization looking at surviving in this global market for a very longtime...Unfortunately the fans have to bear the brunt of cyno's greed!

Cyanogenmod behavior is unprofessional and sucks. I shall scratch off their logo from my OPO and replace the firmware with stock from OPO. Goodbye CM!!!

How could anyone expect any form of ethics from a group of greedy people who tried to manipulate and screwover the community developers based on which CyanogenMod had formed..
