And those OS are displaying MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE, and running as smooth in dual cores.
Don't tell me android need 8 cores.. 16 cores.. or 24 cores just to display 2 app side by side.. or display a few tiny widgets??? ROFL.. talk about great shame of multitasking.
Go! Download iOS launcher on Android.. you will see it STILL lag just as badly! wahahaaa. Then you will be amazed how fast "the launcher only OS is".
Games - iOS faster
Webbrowsing - iOS faster
Social App - iOS faster
Everything iOS is faster
Android - Slowest.. because it cannot take a few widget floating in the launcher LOL.

1. Cos the OEMs like Samsung/HTC etc aren't intersted to make people use it as they don't get profits..
2. And Google doesn't seem to have enough clout to make businesses use nfc payement..
But Apple has both.. And as ApplePay usage increases we will surely see Google Wallet usage increase too.. Google is going to profit from ApplePay it seems :P

For me, for example, the most stupid, useless and pathetic test in the mobile industry these days are benchmarks...
I laugh each time I see benchmark test and article about how great the score of some device is.....
Each time I'm thinking,,,, Ok, it's a really high score and so what?!?!?! if there is absolutely NO mobile app on this planet that needs that kind of power..... So you basically ending up with extremely powerful device with no app to use up this kind of power.... And furthermore, It's 2015, most of the phones these days got desctop class innards equivalent to basic desktop computer running Windows yet some of them, running simple mobile OS, still lag which is even more crazy.....
Same goes with reviewing OS's… Realistically OS is just a background for the app so it has to be made efficient and needs to run smoothly.,.. And to be perfectly honest, the very (if not the most) important aspect of the OS is the Store with QUALITY Apps not TONS of App just to make up for the huge number!!!

Copy and make all from everything you can do...Samsung and Lg has Everything to sell, laptops/tv/mobile/hairdryer/tablets/furniture etc and the other trying to live something behind and thinking about what maybe the users will use everyday and make their life a lot easier. Yes, a lot easier makes you stupid over time because your brain enter in a standby and everything just works and no worries or research learning have to do anymore. I mean after 4 years in Apple ecosystem i went to a friend to make a network system, and i HAVE to do some researh on the web because i got so lazy and let apple do every work for me

JD, 15 Jan 2015nemesh73 - One day you will open your eyes and understand t... morethe only reason crapple runs smoothly with low specs is simple....they have their own ecosystem wich they know works and thats it....you MUST only use what aplle tells you to use you have no connectivity to other devices then apple and that is the only reason it runs smooth, but apple hardware are one of the uglyest phones out ther very outdated as well mediocre specs whitch do not reflect it the ridiculosly high prices i would buy an iphone 6 every day for about 450$ but not more.

nemesh73 - One day you will open your eyes and understand that there is no need for desktop class innards in the phone that's running any mobile OS. If Google would spend some time and actually optimize their system a bit more, you wouldn’t need to have TONS of GHz, Cores, RAM and so on to run that thing smoothly…. It gets to the point where Android will need same sort of innards as for example Windows 8 in order to be able to do simple tasks... The other thing is,, most of the phones on the market these days got Desktop Class innards yet there is absolutely NO desktop class application for mobile device on this planet! This you can call a PARADOX!

Obviously Google Wallet has been around.. But it could never get as wide a adoption as ApplePay (as a matter of fact Apple Pay adoption is going to boost Google wallet adoption)..
Google can't push users to use Google Wallet as they don't make many devices.. The OEMs like samsung, htc can push users to use Wallet but they won't.. Cos they have nothing to gain from it. Google gets the profit from Google Wallet not Samsung..
On the other hand Apple makes a profit with every ApplePay transaction.. And as the whole device ecosystem is their own, apple can and will push for wider apple pay acceptance..
Win win for both Apple and Google..
