And I like the finger print scanner too but what is the trade off?... sacrificing quality to get a fingerprint scanner? maybe use face recognition instead of password?

And I don't care about the finger print scanner! but i also never said it is not important .. i said they blind u with the scanner / heart beat sensor/ whatever else .. and u don't see what piece of shit u are buying.

People use phones in different ways under different circumstances and I'm sure you are smart enough to understand that not everyone can charge their phone overnight.

i hope htc will bring higher ultrapixel resolution thinner flater design cause the m8 moves alot when table using .any other hopes

i never changed the battery of my cell phone ... never
and if u guys want to compare Samsung to HTC ... well Samsung have a long way to go before they reach the premium phones made by HTC... stupid "screen breaking" Samsung... i never broke a screen of a HTC ... my S3 screen got broken twice,,, note 3 once and S4 twice... add to that that the price of the screen is around 300$... Samsung selling cheap quality devices and blinding the customers with stupid gimmicks (like fingerprint, or heart rate sensor...) and then sucking our blood when there cheap quality product gets broken ... i will choose HTC/SONY/LG any day over a samsung ... i would even choose an apple over samsung. (i hate apple for all the restrictions they put on there phones... u buy the phone and feel like they still own it)
and TouchWiz ... what a stupid joke ... u cannot compare that shit to HTC Sense... lol.
now HTC need to correct the mistakes they do ... they are not perfect and no company can claim to have a perfect phone. i am glad they moved away from the 4UP camera, wish they remove the onscreen buttons, implement a bigger battery... a lot can be improved
bottom line
Samsung= cheap quality product with high specs that can barely last a year.
HTC = premium phone very high quality but still behind when it comes to new technologies.

AnonD-77892, 21 Jan 2015"has customer/aftersale support/service" I meant.The only dealing I've had with HTC Customer service has been great. My Camera developed the purple fringing fault and they took the phone and returned it in 8 days. The customer service representative I had the livechat with was most helpful also. They were willing to take it back when the gyroscope/compass hadn't recalibrated properly after the repair but it righted itself eventually.
My M7 has build quality that is equal or better than an Apple device and the freedom that Android provides and the Sense UI is very clean, professional and easy to use. My contract runs out in April and I have no plans to upgrade as it is still a fantastic handset.

If you are a fan of HTC its ok but don't bash a phone just because you are a fan of something else . 5 inchi screen ? 2800 Mah non removeble battery ? The same old ulgy bezels ? The same 2 year old desing ? What is so great about this phone that can make you sell your Note 4 ? Maybe I don't get it ... I owned a M7 it was superb , I love it so much but when I saw the M8 with the same desing I stoped buyng HTC . I was really in to M9 and I could hardly wait for it but now when I see that it is the same 2 year old phone I think HTC is not capable anymore to come up with something cool and mind blowing as they once did ! R.I.P. HTC

M9 is identical as dimensions, but has 5,2 inch display like htc eye. Simple !!! We have it in tests at vodafone Romania.

So wha... moreI'm excited about HTC One M9/Hima, I've bought 2 M8 and my only regret is I've sold them cuz of financial problems, when things got well I choose Note 4 and I regret buying it and reason is TouchWiz, its so bloated, It really needs a lot of RAM to run and mostly over 2.3GB is always in use and M8 hardly use 1GB of RAM, more over HTC Sense UI is really really fast and lovely, it feels like Sense have used lollipop colors a year ago which stock android getting now.. Also not everyone will tell you that TW is slow cuz for that you got to use HTC One M8 for a week and then when you go back you will really find out..

Galaxy S6 will be better than this phone
