QHD on a 32 inch screen makes very little difference. QHD however makes a huge difference if you have a 50 + inch screen and you actually have native QHD content, not just up scaled 1080p content. so those of u who ask for QHD on a mobile phone screen are just blinded by spec sheets. Even 1080P is over kill for a 4.7 - 5.5 inch screen

People that are saying that 1080p on a 5 inch screen is weak are retarded. There's seriously no need for a quad hd screen on a 5 inch screen, except to use more battery. I'm actually glad they're no going to put on a quad hd screen

Android oems should go along with progression and new tech not use old tech and say they're better.. They should be using QHD and improve the battery life not use old trch and claim they are better plus higher prices for old tech.. Apple much?
When will you understand that QHD on anything other than 6 inch phones or AMOLED phones is a waste? Give me a S810 beast with Full HD screen and take my money.
QHD advantages: Almost not perceivable sharpness increase
QHD disadvantages: Dimmer screens, battery consumption due to almost 2x the pixels to power, almost half the GPU power wasted.

first of all i have a nexus 5 which has a 1080p resolution. 3 of my friends use oneplus one. a couple of note 4's and moto's. about the pixel density, thats exactly why i said a 5.7 inch QHD display. get your thoughts organised man.

You know, some of us finished with 5.5 inch phones back in 2012 when they first came out (Note 2) and safe to say i dont want one ever again, what a useless bloat size, 5 inch was twice as good and the 4.7 inch HTC One M7 was even better (the display clarity, the rest of the phone was a piece of pure junk).
You must be talking about useless 5 inch lower midrangers like Galaxy Grand with 800x480 resolution, when using Full HD 5 inches is more than big enough, actually a tad too big, HTC One M7 proved that the sweet spot for 1080p lies at or below 4.7 inch and though i agree that its too small for the farsighted person/short eyeball local hero who cant see the difference between 720p and 1080p (incredible bad eyesight, cant even imagine how poor vision they have) i dont feel sorry for them since reading glasses will fix the problem for almost no cost at all, and if that doesnt help they can always turn to the good ol' coke bottle bottom eyeglasses.

I am one of the people who have hare time dealing with 5 inch screens
You shouldn't force me to use greater than 5 screen phones just because you can

I just hope that this camera can do all the tricks that M8 can. It's good to see that it will be like M8, it's very beautiful. But I don't think that they would release at MWC. Probably they will launch in an exclusive event.

Where would you even get content for i... moreim not much of a streaming guy. no netflix in my country anyways. but with 4k tv's becoming mainstream, the internet is full of content. also wallpapers and just everyday usage the screen looks beautifull. and im sure games on play store are gonna be updated accordingly.
its not that QHD is much better just that there are no downsides.
