Anonymous, 23 Jan 2015Cos android is bloated and resource heavy (yes even aosp) w... moreYou have no idea what you talking about, if you optimize source of android you can let it run very smoothly on 256 ram devices.
Problem is not android, problem is people...
They buying phones for 40-50 euro's and expecting amazing 3D performance.

AOSP is Android self, you point nothing while you saying "Even AOSP", its the source of Android.
And you can customize it like Amazon and Xiaomi did.

There are forks of Android and they faster than Google's build and no hidden programs, no bloatware, fully tweakable (Excluding FireOS).
      CyanogenMod , AOKP, FireOS.
All of them are AOSP based...

Let me teach you a few things:

Jellybean, Kitkat, Lolipop etc is API level
Android used Dalvik VM for running java applications but now is ART, for now is together and soon only ART.
There is no better hardware support than Android provides, hardware coverage is huge and too many linux variants uses that too because android is also Linux and OpenSource.
There are thousands of developers working hard for making Android better while you screwing to it, and most of them are volunteer thus for free!
If Android never existed you should use Windows's closed source OS with one square jailed screen, or apple's dark kingdom.

      Android is freedom, for everyone!

the whole idea about delay was to make it 4,7'' inch. if it won't have LTE and NFC, then it would be a downgrade for MX2 users...

Anonymous, 22 Jan 2015i hope it has firefox os option. thanks mizu. i shall wait ... moreFireFox is a dead born OS.
              Here is why...

Ugly non themable design, HTML Based, mostly Weak hardware, no full OpenGL 2+ support, no certain protection for privacy and no way to do by yourself ( Adblockers, AV's, permission controllers etc...) doesn't have real application API framework, not better than android or WP and doesn't offer new things thoose Android can't.

They trying to develop wheel from zero, I don't understand why they just don't customise android source for themselves, no need to google they can fully change Android for their taste.
              But no...
FF OS is more more more open source and more more more better.
              Is that so?
