No surprise at the Grand Prime being on top. It really has the best specs and by all accounts, real world use is also the best among phones in its price bracket. Other samsung phones on the list are iffy except for the note 4 imo.

samsung phones are great phones,no matter what your phone is , you really have to appreciate it.... Im a big fan of Sony but its all about utilizing the device no matter what brand

If you ever had a nexus or an iphone and then try an other phone. You will see what we mean by lag. If you just use your samsung phone you wont notice it cause you get used to it. But whens your used to something else you will never go back to samsung.

Infact I can agree with you that I havent experienced anything laggish about all the samsung phones Ive used. Heck my Note 2 was fast unrooted and with stock touchwiz on it.
The point of my previous comment is that, the whole thing about samsung phones being laggy is exagurated, overated and its just some nonsense that Samsung haters and trolls use to bash Samsung.

Well, really congrats to Samsung, for producing a very popular models! !! But now let's just hope that they will produce the really best flagship smartphone of 2015!!!? And soooo, the Galaxy S6! Come on Samsung, produce it really the best overall! !!!!

I had an S3 32Gb and that wasn't laggy at all. Things went even better after I rooted it and had my way with it. Stacked that original 3000MAh battery and associated, better quality battery-cover on it and loved all the way.
In fact IMHO that S5 also looks MUCH better with that thicker cover from the original QI-charging-kit or Samsung extended battery (which uses the same better quality thicker plastic battery cover).

The reason why Samsung's phones are so vastly presented in this list is due to several reasons.
1) Samsung has a big marketing machine. There's more Samsung adds then e.g. Sony adds or HTC for that matter. Chinese brands have practically no advertising outside their land of origin. So I suspect that most of their sales is not in Europe nor the US.
2) They have everything from TV's to washing-machines and from blueray-players to smartphones. They even have a range of PC's. Since a lot of points-of-sales that sell these Galaxy's are chains like e.g. Mediamarkt, FNAC, Dixons etc... it's an easy brand to have.
3) A lot of these chains have sponsoring contracts with Samsung (AKA bribe). In some of these chains Samsung's presence is so overwhelming that they have become in essence Samsung outlets.
4) Although IMHO Samsung is still a 3rd rate brand, their products aren't completely bad. Their after sales services sucks because they work with the wrong partners (e.g. DynaFix) but it doesn't mean that the products themselves are bad. Or at least not worse as their competition's products. Especially since nowadays everything "is made in china" and thus by definition, it's ALL crap. In the case of Sony. They also deal with the same notorious Dynafix for their after-sale-service. So they have the same lousy waranty repair policy.
5) Flocking and inept to technology. "The neighbor has a Samsung and thus I want a Samsung too, but a bigger one.". Also a lot of people bought smartphones because shops only sell smartphones. The one or 2 cheap candy bad models too, are probably a Samsung (since Nokia fell out) and thus a lot (o/t silent majority) buys Samsung. Most just call and text and don't know any better. And for that a Samsung is as good as any other brand.
6) Value for money. Samsung STILL sells the S4 and an updated S3, S3 Neo. Last year flagships are still competent devices this year. Sure, the LG G2 16Gb can be had for the same price NOW. The situation was different mid-2014. Then e.g. the S4 was great value for money as was the S3 Neo. In the case o/t S4, it's still agreat performer, removable battery and micro-SD slot for 350 bucks... and it can record calls (without root), has all the features in kitkat that lolipop has today (plus an update to lolipop for the fools whom want to ruin a great phone). So what's there not to like?
7) And finally. Let's be honest. That S5 is not "bad". It's powerful, fast, has all the lolipop promoted features already in kitkat (like the S4) via TouchWiz and can be bought at bargaining prices. I bought mine for a little bit over the S4's price. Sure, that cashback-promo did the trick but at that price. I mean 349 euro for S4 or 399 euro for an S5... at that time an M8 costs about 649 euro. That's an offer I just couldn't refuse.

This whole thing about Samsung being laggy is really getting old now.
Touchwiz has been refined and trimmed down on the current phones and is smoother than it has been. Some of you talk about lag like the phone crashes or something. I would take a laggy older feature packed samsung model any day than a fast useless mediocre speced Iphone.
Please find something factual to hate about if you hate samsung as much as you do
