        Hi guys its me again.

This move from xiaomi is actually healthy for a developing/growing company who's origins are shrouded with hate and doubt from most consumers outside the country. It shows that they are confindent with there product and service's but the big case her though is that this is a bold move which most of the time would fail.In talks of big business a strategy the same as this is literally "all or nothing".

-And Its not because of OS that they are trying to promote its the phone and its capabilities itself(Which is pretty obvios. And im just clearing this out).Going againts the big boys like apple is more of a dare than just a promotion. To turn such plans as this successful. They should have started with the lesser brands(Still a big competitor though) like motorola or LG which they can possibly handle. But again going against apple which is already a well established and trusted company is a bold move and with such move the higher the risk of failing.

Chuck007, 26 Jan 2015Don't even get me started about the greedy capitalist fools... moreWell said. I'm just tired of seeing people saying their own nonsense (to put it mildly) is acceptable while someone else's nonsense is "filth". Since this isn't a political site I won't go any further. Cheers!

BTW I'd be fair to Xiaomi here. The Note (non) Pro deal sounds legit. Tradein the iPhone 6/6 Plus however... not so much.

                  Hmmm...sounds interesting
With Xiaomi's pricing at 2:1, will I get 2 Mi Note Pros if I were to trade my iPhone 6 Plus (128GB)?

AnonD-345001, 26 Jan 2015I'd trade an apple for an android anyday. haha. Spec wise, ... morespec wise xiaomi is better? are you carazy.. don't judge a book by it's cover, in this case core counts and processor speed.. doesn't matter.. In optimizations, in day to day performance, in benchmarks, even xiaomi's best phone can't beat iphone 5s, let alone, iphone 6

Well, I'm not gonna say this is a stupid or unreasonable idea as trade-in value and selling value is very different. The selling value of a used [unlocked] Galaxy S4 (for an example) is around $200 - $230 while the trade in value is lower, which is around $100 - $160.
Plot twist : Apple ran out of used iPhones to be selled as a pre-owned set, so they secretly cooperate with XiaoMi to do this.

since u luv android there is no way u'd buy an Apple

You wouldn't have bought an iPhone to begin with...

Specs are meaningless if they don't translate into acceptable performance.

iPhone works. Really well. End of story.

MdN8, 26 Jan 2015OK. Then show me an article saying that the "Commies&q... moreDon't even get me started about the greedy capitalist fools who brought themselves in this mess. As the son of an established businessman who has plenty of connections with the CCP, I have much to gain by supporting Communist propaganda. Why do I choose otherwise you ask? Let's not always use the stance where everything has to be about how bad Muricans are. Everyone with half a brain realizes they are prone to their own number of hypocrisies.

What I am talking about is the the maritime disputes. The enterprising minds where their ultimate goal is to reap whatever resources at the cost of the livelihoods of everyone who aren't the Chinese "elite". The innocent people living in China who have no freedom and speech and expression. Besides, how many people were arrested for simply stating their beliefs? The poor being treated like dirt? Short of being nothing but cheap, disposable tools? What is this, the 50s? For a nation that is supposed to be the next global power, they still have much to learn. Being mistrusting of everyone who isn't affiliated with the CCP won't do them any good. Let's see how long until they realize how simply throwing money at other nations (many of which they consider their "enemies") will help their long-term goals.

Plenty of evidence for USA doing bad stuff out there. But people choose to ignore it.
