If the chief is saying then it could be, honestly am looking at a no which is just 30% of the claimed no, last year what dominated the market is Xiaomi with its Flash sales. Xiaomi models struggle now as the phones have already done their sale, what people want now is Xiaomi MI4 hopefully priced sub 16K if not then Xiaomi will need to think of putting a newer (non mobile products) in the market to hold the market like Xiaomi Router etc.

Considering only the Age group from 15 - 50 (which is approximately 55% of the total population) It's one in every every 232 people..

So 1,266,000,000 Indians has not bought Motorola the last year. 3 million is arond one in every 423 persons in India, im not really that impressed, it would be well done to sell less in such a big market.

More expensive phones like Samsung are out of price range for most Indian buyers so that's why cheap phones like moto g sell millions there.to them its like a Nexus 6 or galaxy S5.

Loved my Moto G. It would be really great if they could have their own service centers, at least in major cities. If they improve their services, they might well be the next Nokia for us.
Lenovo has no respect here, so maybe they should consider making Motorola their default brand in Indian market.

So,the coming moto e must be sensitive device for Motorola.. Since, tis device determines the company's future..so motorola stand up in our expectation.

According to statistic, Motorola captured around 2.7% market share worldwide in 2014.

But the most hilarious part was, Motorola has been loosing money for 4 straight years. Hope Lenovo acquired them and their Nexus 6 will save them, if that's even possible.

Internet penetration is low and eCommerce is budding, it would have sold much more if it was available in normal shops at the same price.
