my galaxy tab s 10.5 is great. The software is wayyy better than previous Samsung tablets. I wont be buying the new Tab S though, unless they come out with something like 12" Super Amoled.

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2015unfortunately, it's true that for tablets, ipad still have ... moreWell i dont use that many apps on my galaxy tab s but they dont appear to be any differnet to me, apart from different layouts, the games graphically are of a very high standard and look much better on my tab s then on my note 3, and both have very good screens although tab s is 2k resolution, any app i have used is on both android and IOS, the difference being that a lot of ios apps are not free compared to the same apps on android, i respect that this is not the case over all but i have no issues so far in over 6 years with android minus a few hiccups, defo not light years behind IMO :-)

Do Samsung tablets even sell? There are so many models, tab 4, tab 3, tab s, tab pro, note tab.. in many different sizes even.. this is no fun

Developers treat androids as second class citizens. Also, most tablet apps are mostly scaled versions, as opposed to ipads, which are optimized for ipad.

That is way off the mark. When it comes to tablets, apple has the best hardware. Android will need another 3 to 5 years to catch up with iPads on performance.software - I don't think the gap is that much. They are both very close and limited compared to windows.

The majority of apps are available on bpth platforms, and each OS has their own unique apps, but to call apple so much better is stupid, i have had both android and apple and in my experience i MUCH prefer and love android, and would say its miles better then IOS, but in reality thats not the case, it is simply better for me, but in no way can it be considered light years behind

Same goes to note 10.1 N8020. They update in US but not in asia country. So no comment.

It seems like Samsung no like to update their devices. I have 2 Note 4 and waiting for update too. i have 2 Tab S and waiting for updates. They want compete with apple need to keep up with their update.

Come on Samsung, first update your Galaxy Note line of tablets!!!
I`m a loyal user of the note 10.1 and the 10.1 2014, can`t put into words just how good it would be to have an AMOLED screen here! The 2014 have a very sharp screen, but with terrible contrast ratios. It impresses in every aspect, except when watching a movie (even an executive wants to have some netflix fun!)
