Samsung won't use a smaller battery. No way!

Mobilemaster, 16 Feb 2015NO Samsung, please don't do that! The G3 has a QHD display,... morebut Samsung has a HUGE advantage, it's called SAMOLED :)
just watch a comparison between the Note3 and Note4 displays', the Note4's needs ~30% less energy (at QHD), than the Note3's display

AnonD-358476, 16 Feb 20152600mAh + QHD res. IF true (and that's a big IF) = 3 hou... moreYa seems like a bad move on samsung part. Also seems like no more sd card slot which is a huge drawback. Basically I'm buying an I phone yet it's made by samsung. That type of display rumored for this phone with that little battery won't be enough. I guarantee that most reviews will have negative comments about the battery life if the rumors turn out to be true when it's released

Ok i get the all metal back and battery not being removable.. but why make the device so thin hence sacrificing battery capacity. Moreover it will be a QHD screen even though of amoled type..most of the power savings of the 14n process Exynos chip will be somewhat negated by the small capacity battery. Why not a 3000+mAh battery to go with all the savings of the chip n amoled screen tech. It makes no sense when some Android OEMs try to emulate and therefore walk away from their core design...for example 4:3 aspect ratio tablets etc.

In my view a device of 8.5-10mm thin hosting a 3500+mAh battery makes for a better selling point than otherwise.

Maybe you guys can tell me as i dont get why even though u put a more efficient processor and smoother OS etc on to a newer device, why the need to decrease battery size all the while putting a more demanding display onto the device, and this is while potentially sealing the battery inside the phone, i might end up just waiting for the note 5 but then again they usually pass the design from the galaxy s series to the note so may even pick up the note 4 for dirt cheap price....

I think it's enough with 2.600 MAH battery if this would have wifi charger. Im not happy about the camera it they stick with 16 mp or they should improve more that. Maybe dual-led and more pixel size than 1.12 :S

[deleted post]u have a point, i recently but a new spare phone at 50 $ off contract low end phone, it pretty much run most the apps my main phone runs, n it can last 2 to 3 days on charge n good usage, it lacks basic sensors (light, LED, GPS, n front cam) n has poor 2 megapixel camera, good value for money but not good enough all rounder, but i realized that buying a high end android is not worth it, good functionality but battery drain too fast on usage, hardware n software gets outdated quickly. best is to go with a mid ranger, 1080p on 5" with a quad core n 8+ megapixel cam, is good enough
