Two glass panels clamped with metal frames does give both new devices a premium, classy look.

Anonym, 27 Feb 2015That's just silly. Are you sure that is why Sony is in t... moreI'll respond to your considered logic: -
      - Yes - Sony's phone device division is in trouble according to current news reports.
      - Apple products have not done well because they don't have a removeable back.
      - Nexus is a specialty pure Android device - the main complaint of which is battery life
      - One+One has never been a 'top of the most desirable phones' list.
      - Lumia's have not failed due to some having a removable back, their closed MS OS has quite a lot more to do with that.
I believe my logic does compute.
Nor is my argument 'flawed'. But please feel free to try again

This is the exact same phone that was 'leaked' yesterday.

If this does prove to be true, and the phone DOES have a glass back panel with no MicroSD slot, then the Galaxy s6 just took a serious dive in my priorities.

Did Samsung not learn ANYTHING from Apple's Iphones? Glass panels do NOT work.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2015Aluminum and glass are no less cheap recyclable materials. ... moreTrue, but could you elaborate the connection between the cheap plastic look of any Samsung phones and high grade premium poly carbonate plastic ?

I fail to see how plastic materials used by Samsung can be considered premium,

Good work Samsung. Beautifully build, a power house device, should be enjoyable to use.

                    Gibby, 26 Feb 2015Correct - look at what's happening to Sony's mobile phone d... moreThat's just silly.

Are you sure that is why Sony is in trouble? Because I'm pretty sure the iPhone and iPad never had a removable battery and they are doing more than well.

For quite a few years now that the Nexus line didn't have a removable *anything* and they always did more than well...

The Moto G and the OnePlus One were at the top of the most desired phones last year and neither had a removable battery.

Lumias are failing to succeed and they have removable batteries.

                    Your logic doesn't compute.
PS: I *DO* like removable batteries, but making flawed arguments like yours isn't helping the cause...

i can live with the none removable battery, but no SD card on this age is simply a big letdown...was looking forward to buy the S6, i accepted the no-removable battery, but no sd card is a deal breaker for me...

guess i will stick to my S4 for another year :p

The teasers and ads made the S6 better looking than these leaks. Let's see how the market reacts to the new design.

If the extended screen on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge really has no functionality like Note 4, I dont understand why they need to do two variants. They can just do Samsung Galaxy S6 with that unique design. Its like a wrap around design but not quite there yet but I like it. With this design, people can distinguish if you're using a Flagship Samsung phone. Seriously, all Samsung phones look the same. You can't really tell if its midrange o flagship

What an huge ugly tit at the back!
This camera is even more protruding than the previous model! WTF! And with that design it's probably a non-removable back which also means no wireless-charging back (which recesses the camera a bit). SO dissapointed.

As if all that stupid white crap of Lolipop isn't bad enough on AMOled equipped devices. These "geniuses" make it WORSE with their iPhone 4 clone.

Haven't these bloody morons ever heard about ergonomics!
